  2. Had sleeve November 2016. I see the weight loss in my clothes but looking at pictures gives me encouragement. Started size 28 pants and now I am in a 14/16 pants. Shirts started size 3xl and now I am in a 10/12 or medium/large. Each day is a work in progress but with God standing with me I can do it. I do not like to take pictures but did and had to share.     Thank you. I weighed this morning (6/2/17) and I am down to 192lbs. A work in progress! "Unfinished"
  7. Can not see my results except in my clothes; but seeing in pictures really motivates me. I am going to the gym and working out three days a week 1 to 1 1/2 hours each time. Plus walking 3 1/2 miles 6 days a week. Feeling great and having the sleeve surgery was the best thing I ever did. I am 6 months post op. Sent from my SM-N910V using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Sleeved November 18, 2016. Starting weight 288. Weight today is 202. Shirt size went from 3x to large. Pant size went from 26/28 to 14/16. Walking 3-4 miles a day, going to the gym three times a week for 45 minutes to an hour work out between treadmill, elliptical and bike.   12. I was sleeved 11/18/16 in Mexico. I am 5' 3" with a starting weight 280lbs. Current weight 224lbs. I have gone from size 28/26 pants to 20/18. Gone from 3xl shirts to XL/L. I have hit several stalls but I normally lose 2-3lbs a week. I was exercising every day at the gym but my last stall I cut back and walk 2 miles twice to three times a week. Now that I am back losing I am going to start back at gym. I feel great and trying to hit my second goal of 198lbs. Everyone just keep encouraging and supporting one another.

    I have a fitbit but also love My Fitness Pal. I log myfood, exercise and water everyday. Also keep track of weight loss. Anyone that wishes to become my friend on my fitness pal please let me know

    Plateaus!!

    I am 12 weeks out from sleeve surgery and I will lose 4-5lbs a week for two weeks then stall with no loss for a week and then start back losing again. This started around week 7.

  18. I had Sleeve surgery in mexico on 11/18/16. Dr. Verboone did my surgery at the Obesity Goodbye Clinic. I flew to San Diego and the doctor had someone to pick me up and drove me to Tijuana. I had surgery on a Friday and fly back home to Georgia on Sunday and went back to work on Monday. Have not had any problems 12 weeks today. Sw 280 and today 228.1. I have gone from 28/26 pants to 16/18. 3xl shirts to L/XL.
  19. I had Gastric sleeve surgery 11/18/16. Started preop 11/6/16. Starting preop weight was 280, surgery weight 267. I am 9 weeks post op and now weigh 237. That is a weight loss of 43lbs. I have gone from size 26/28 jeans to 20 and from 3xl shirts to xl. I am proud I have lost 43lbs; but I am getting discouraged. I am eating 800 calories a day, 20-40 carbs, 30-50 grams protein, drinking 60-120oz of water a day. I either do 1 hour of exercise at the gym or walk 2.5-3 miles every day. I am having problems with BM and I am having to eat 1 cup of Activa each day and take dulcolax once a week to even have one BM. I know I need more protein but can not drink the protein shakes or do the protein powder. Have tried numerous times and get very sick from them. I have only lost 1-2 lbs the last two weeks. I need some support on what can I do to get in more protein(cheese is out because of the constipation issue) and what can I do to get weight loss started back on a steady larger amount? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I had Gastric sleeve surgery in November 2016 by Dr Sergio Verboone at Obesity Goodbye Clinic. Great doctor and great experience. Had the same nurse the whole time. There was physician asst. there having the surgery from another state when I had mine.

    Rash from protein drinks

    Yes I had rash and my mouth and lips broke out. I got very nausea and vomited every brand I tried and even powder.

    Have you tried probiotics? During my last visit with my surgeon she recommended Ultimate Flora 20 billion/capsule since I was coming off antibiotics, but she said I should continue to take them since they are go for our guts and helps with gas and weight loss. Also, hummus, Beans, cottage cheese, yogurt...Are high in protein. I would say, stay away from carbs and focus on lean protein/fiber instead, drink your liquids and physical activity. Good luck.
