I'm just here to give an advice to who just got the surgery , or is about to get sleeved . We have way too much gas after surgery , and I believe a month after I was sleeved I started using a wrap band and gave a good relief . Good luck , I just wanna it to let anyone who had the surgery know about this . Having these much gas after surgery , can be very painful . And this really helped me ! @@vivi16 It depends on the cause of the acid reflux. Do you have a hiatal hernia that will be repaired at the same time? If so - that's probably what's causing the reflux. I have mild reflux (based on my GI Study) and having the Sleeve. My Dr felt there would be no issues. I'm also on the 18th!! good luck! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Hi everyone , I'm getting the sleeve on October 18th . And I was told the sleeve doesn't help people with acid reflux , for some reason the doctor decided for sleeve .
