    Popcorn

I'm two months post op and have no trouble with popcorn. Not the most nutrient dense food, but I love it and have it occasionally. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Stayed home with supportive hubby who didn't get any fatty food or beer. I made a healthy veggie casserole for us as well as a hash brown casserole for him. He made himself some gammon and I just ate a few small servings of casserole throughout the day as well as sugarfree chai tea with GENEPRO and almond milk. Sucks not participating in usual traditions, but avoiding what I KNOW will be a huge temptation is the best thing for me. Hope everyone had a happy Tgiving! 5. I'm almost 2 months post sleeve surgery and would like to start adding kale to smoothies again. If it's blended really well, do you think it would be ok or am I going to have problems? I haven't had any green leafy veg since before the surgery, so I've no idea if I'll have problems! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Vitamin Patches- Do they work?

What type Patches? Can I get them from Amazon? I'm in the UK. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Tiny, tiny sips. I had the same problem. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Had the sleeve done about seven weeks ago. I was ok until recently when I began getting queasy for no reason. It's been going on for days now! If I take a step or two back and just focus on liquids and Protein, would that help? Any advice is appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. I have ZERO pain threshold and I did just fine. They did pump me full of pain meds, of course. After I came home I found I was ok with the occasional ibuprofen. Like Gustavio said, I found most of my pain going away after surgery as my feet and back don't constantly ache from so much extra weight. It's worth it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Wait at least three weeks. I found applesauce was easy, but I couldn't handle refried Beans. I ended up mainly going back to Protein shakes just to be on the safe side. I also tried baby food and discovered I hate it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Alcohol

Alcohol was one of the main causes of my weight gain so I've been avoiding it like the plague. It does a number on your social life, but it's worth it because I feel soooo much better! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    belching

Gas X strips. I'm six weeks out and still have trouble. Try doing side bends. Also make SURE you sip liquids! I never realised that I was gulping before and it's a tough habit to kick. I would have killed to be able to burp just after surgery! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I'm six weeks out and I'm mostly noticing it in my face. I never could stand to look at my body before surgery, so don't have any way to compare. After about 2-3 weeks I noticed my feet don't hurt anymore when I walk. That is an AMAZING feeling! Don't constantly look for changes or you'll drive yourself crazy. Just let it happen.
