  1. If you haven't worn it in more than five years, sell or donate it. It will be out of style anyway and you'll make room in your closet for newer, better things. Also thrift stores are the BEST. I shopped at them even before I put on weight I love them so much. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. You don't have trouble with gas? That's been my biggest problem since Day 1. I was thinking of adding Benefibre or taking Metamucil, but veggie chili is much more appealing! ETA - I originally said three months out. I meant three weeks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Calories intake?

I'm 3 weeks in and am just managing to get in all the Protein. I drink Isopure and nectar protein along with the occasional Soup. I tend to hover between 600-800 calories. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Full

Sip SLOWLY and pay attention to how your body feels. I'm three weeks out and I occasionally forget and just drink quickly. When I do that, I get painfully gassy and it sometimes won't stay down. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Need answers..

This may sound lame, but when I first got sleeved, I kept a small container of vaporub in my purse. I put a little around my nostrils so I couldn't smell the food. I also used whitestrips for my teeth when I'm cooking so I'm not tempted to graze. Don't laugh - it works! I found tricks like that great for just getting over the hump. After a while, I just got over it and quit craving stuff. I think a lot of it was habit. Unconcious comfort eating was automatic. Now I'm aware of it and don't do it anymore. What soups?

I know it's not a creamy soup, but I've enjoyed miso quite a bit. I keep Edward & Sons brand on hand. Go for the low sodium kind. To make a creamy soup, I've found adding Greek yogurt and Smash (potato flakes if you're not in the UK,) to a good broth make for a satisfying soup. I'm not yet ready for my beloved potato leek or cream of broccoli soups! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Binge eating

I find that if I eat any more than 2-3 ounces of anything I get immediately sick. That's generally a good deterrent. I used to binge eat as well. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. Gas! Not fun gas where you can burp the alphabet. Just constant, unmoving gas. I would have a party if I could have just one big fart. Gas X strips help, but it never seems to completely go away! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Greek yogurt with some sf pudding mixed in.
  14. I'm about a week out and I haven't lost that foggy/lightheaded feeling. I'm still on Clear liquids and broth for now. Assuming maybe it's an Iron thing? Any suggestions? I'd prefer not to have to go get any more supplements! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Protien

Have you tried Isopure? It's flavoured Protein Water. It's whey protein, but some people I know who are sensitive to lactose are fine with this stuff. You can get at Vitamin Shoppe and Amazon, plus other places I imagine. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Anyone in the UK?

I don't know about chewables. I got a pill crusher I use then dissolve the stuff in liquid. Think I got it at Boots. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    October sleevers?

The gas is the worst part, bar none. I couldn't get the type of Gas X that dissolves on your tongue, so I got chewables I've been sucking on. This is gross, but vomiting will bring up the gas. Obviously food won't come up, just water and foam. That was the only thing that helped me a few times as the pain was so bad. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
