I have walked a few times but not as much as I should...still working on getting all my energy back. ( or at least that is what I keep telling myself.) I usually do a yogurt for bkfast and have been eating cottage cheese with a variety of things for lunch. I made my own guacamole with half an avacado and a touch of salsa and it was pure heaven! I have had scrambled eggs a few times and actually pureed some pot roast and carrots the other night and it was great. I have had no trouble with anything and have been eatting probably a cup of food total for lunch and dinner I don't think I have much restriction but haven't really pushed the issue. I travel on business next week so that will be a test! First fill is May 8th.

Tonight I had cottage cheese with a few tablespoons of marinara and a sprinkle of parmeasen cheese...nuked for about a minute and it tasted just like lasagne without the noodles...yummy

Has it only been a week?!? I am so glad to be back at work, time just seemed to drag when I was around the house most of the day. I have been getting my Protein in, and trying a few other soups that I strain all the chunky stuff out of. I was finding I was really missing the “savory” tasting foods and broth only does so much. I also drink a v8 each night and while I know it is high in sodium it gives me that satisfaction I really want right now. I go for follow up with surgeon on Wednsday. Scars are healing nicely. Does anyone else wonder where exactly there port is? I think I can feel it but I am just not sure if that is just scar tissue. I m hungry sometimes and don't think I have much restriction at all. I am looking forward to the "mushy" stage.

I'm finally one of you...banded yesterday. Feeling pretty good. Stiff and sore but walking around the house helps. I can't tell you how much this site has helped me the last few weeks to be prepared. I am sure I will have my good and bad days and know I'll find support here.

Well here we are bringing up the rear in March and I couldn't be more excited. I have been lurking here for several weeks now and just reading all the posts has been so encouraging and really helps keep everything in perspective. Whoo Hoo...less than a week!
