Awesome job! I moved to Winterstein to do the surgery right when it was all changing from Dr Cronk. 100 lbs is a LOT! Go to the dog food isle and pick up the bags whenever you want to be reminded how awesome you are! That's what I do!
-
Goal is about another 45 lbs.

Surgery in a couple hours and I can't sleep
csquaredmom replied to FAT TWO FABULOUS's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
There has not been a moment of regret. I'm 5 mo post op and down 117lbs. I've barfed my brains out. But that's only because I ate too fast, wrong stuff or didn't listen to the doctors. It's worth it. It's soooo worth it. -

Hello! I had RNY on October 22, 2016. Best choice I could have ever made. I'm having a bit of a bumpy time - food and I often fight. But, I'm learning - food is usually right and I'm usually wrong (too much, too fast, etc.). Protein is the hardest for me to fit in - and I'm learning to get really creative. I'm down 63 lbs since surgery (84 since first weigh in) - and the feeling of being able to do things is incredible. I need my Christmas present (FitBit 2) so I can remind myself to eat - and stay on schedule! Good luck!
-
Congratulations! That's a lot of hard work! I hope that you enjoy the holidays and dance the days away feeling lighter and brighter without the pounds! Yay for you!!

WOW. That's incredible. Care to share some of your best tips for someone 4 weeks out?

I'm not sure what all transpired. But I do know that Karen in their office has been wonderful. I am thankful they did what they could to help me - and I'm onto another group that will help me. Don't give up.

Received a call from Dr Cronks office. After six months of doctor appointments, lost weight, endoscopy, appointments with him, nutritionist and EKG, I'm told that I must lose more weight (never mind the last six months). According to them this is a "new policy". I'm not so frustrated with the additional requirement as I am the lack of communication and the expense I've gone through. I'm hoping to get the surgery done this year for insurance and I started this process 1/12/2016. I'll lose the additional weight but this road feels long. And longer. Sad. Frustrated.
