3 days post op and feel fine. Just got back from grocery shopping. I'm finding warm liquids go down better so warming my Water so I can get that in. I have sinusitis so that is making me miserable, without that I'd probably be feeling good. I slept for almost 11 hrs last night and been answering work emails all day. I'm looking forward to being able to sleep on my stomach and getting the staples out. Think you'll find consensus here. I just had my band revised to bypass. There is enough research out there now that says that bands don't work. My. Doctor has gone as far as saying Drs still doing it today should be sued for malpractice, because they know they don't work over the long run. So my doctor has sent me Optifast for the next 2 weeks pre-surgery. I tried both the vanilla and chocolate they sent. The vanilla made me gag, couldn't drink it at all and was able to drink the chocolate if I held my nose. Not sure how I'm going to make it through the next 2 weeks like this. I'm not sweet lover to begin with so this artificial sweet stuff is just gross. Has anyone else done anything different in the two weeks? I can't be the only one.

42 lbs is fantastic! Celebrate that. I would be ecstatic if I were down to 205 in 3 months. My surgery is Tuesday and I'm starting at about 244. Stalls happen. In my experience that is when I'm losing the inches. I'm going from a band to bypass or sleeve. I'm not setting myself up to expect a loss as fast as yours. I used rogaine after my band surgery. Did it for about a year and stopped. I was fine. It probably depends on the why of the hair loss. For rogaine to work you need to keep using it. I just didn't need to after a while Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Hi Autumn, Try pureeing it first. I know I'm on full liquids through week 3, then purees through week 6. It may just be too early for you.
