Thank you! That's good to know that someone knows what I am going through. I too have been hospitalized several times, and now I'm showing signs of liver damage from the TPN. I don't know what to do.. They want to ween me off of it to protect my liver, and my line has already been blocked ,but I still am unable to get anything down except apple juice and I obviously can't live off of that alone. It's just so frustrating.. Non stop problems since I woke up from surgery. Surgery:7/26/16 SW:236 DOS:205

Hi y'all! I am 8 weeks post op and cannot get any relief!! I threw up everything including water so I was severely dehydrated and malnourished, had an ulcer and a stricture, I just got out of the hospital for the 3rd time and this time I was there almost a week due to complications from my surgery. I had to have a picc line inserted in my arm so that I can "eat" through TPN. I am starting to feel better but now my Dr wants me to start trying to eat and literally EVERYTHING still makes me sick!! I am so sad and frustrated, I can't even describe what I've been through these last 8 weeks, oh and by the way the TPN made me gain back all the weight I'd lost so I'm really feeling like I did this all for nothing! I'm just looking for someone who might have been through this, and want to know how long it took you to feel semi "normal?? I really regret ever having this surgery and would not wish this on my worst enemy!
