    Thank you

Not sure if this is on your plan, but I got cucumber, celery, and jello as "freebies" - I could have 2 a day. Me and cucumbers were very good friends. Does your plan have something similar?

    They fit

Woot Woot! I've lost 55 pounds but only 1 pant size. It's my favorite NSV.

Y'all! I just bought myself an Instant Pot!

    $8 at Lowe's until tomorrow I think!

    Protein shots

Don't - it is disgusting, and not a good source of protein. It tastes like hay, or dirt, or something. It's absolutely disgusting, and I still have a package in my kitchen. It's also collagen protein which isn't like animal or whey protein. Save your money in my opinion.

    First time puking

Lucky you!!! Seriously! Wish I could say the same
  6. I wondered the same, but I really haven't found anything I can't replace with a healthier option. I was a big eat out of convenience person - a lot of fast food, frozen dinners, delivery. If you want a burger, just eat a mini turkey burger no bun. chicken wings? Bake them instead. Pasta? Try zoodles. There's a lot of easy swaps. And don't get me wrong, I still had a bite of pumpkin and a bite of pecan pie Thanksgiving. But the mashed potatoes, the rolls - just didn't call to me, and my 2 bites of dessert was satisfying, didn't need or want more.

    Periods!

Hmm. I don't get the salt cravings. Try pickles, they're salty and low cal.

    When are pureed foods ok?

I couldn't have puree until 21 days in. But when I moved to full liquids day 11, greek yogurt really helped. I buy cases at BJs since I eat one almost every day. I use it as a dessert almost 2 hours after dinner.

    First time puking

I threw up the first time on rotisserie chicken. It was on my plan, I didn't overeat. Meat of one drumstick. I think we ALL throw up at some time. Learn things the hard way sometimes.

    One month post op problems

I couldn't do shakes either. nectar was sorta kinda tolerable. cheese - babybels, string cheese, cottage cheese. Greek yogurt (i like oikos triple zero, 15g protein!) Once you're further out p3 packs. They have nuts which I would think you're too early for. 170-190 cal and has 11-13g protein depending on the pack. Avoid the ones with dried fruit, ups the calories by 100! Good luck - it gets easier!
  11. Why don't you go to a resterant and pick up plastic stuff or even the store. Unless you want them to look like regular slverware.I just ordered toddler utensils from amazon. They're fun patterns! Lol.

    Gastric Sleeve Newbie

It gets better, I promise! I'm 10 weeks out and (knock on wood) think I'm getting to the good side of this! 55 pounds gone, can eat normal in small portions, get protein without supplements. Hang in there!

Maybe try a reset, that could get you back on track after the holiday!
  14. Hey girl, if you feel up to it go for it!!! Just take it slow - if you're like me, that's a good thing
  15. Hmm. I need to look into this air fryer. I've been baking, grilling, or crock potting everything.

Y'all! I just bought myself an Instant Pot!

Ooh fun! I bought 2 extra crock pots black friday when they were $8. Yes, $8. Helloooooo crock pot meal prep!
  17. 3 drumsticks here. My tummy is happy!

    What's everyone eating?

Try p3. They're 170-190 cals and have various options. I eat one each morning.

    I'M A LIL HUNGRY

I just started feeling hungry and I'm 9 weeks out. I get Protein and eat dense protein meals. But every night the past few days I'm going to bed really hungry. I figure if I'm asleep, I won't be hungry then. 10 weeks. I'm always counting a week behind lol.

    Low Carb Pasta

Is it as simple as it looks to make?I poke the crap out of one with a fork, toss it in the microwave for 10-15 minutes depending on size, turn it over and nuke it for another five. (Put it on a paper plate for easier clean up.) Once it has caved, cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and then scoop out the strands. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, Parmesan or red sauce. Or, use it as the rice under stir fry. Delish. Seems easy enough! I was worried about getting the strings out without turning it into squash casserole or something haha. LOVE the easy cleanup part

I hate that I had this surgery

Try a lid on your drinks. That way you won't smell them and it could help the nausea.

    Delayed menstrual cycle?

I've heard good things about the mirena here. I think I'll give it a go. Thanks for sharing!! I am on my second Mirena and I do love it...no remembering, etc....it also mellows out the horrible symptoms I was having before.....super bleeding, premenopausal, etc..The worst part was the pain of insertion and removal...for me anyway, especially since never having kids (spreading of stuff down there)...but it was over pretty quick.....getting thick black stitches taken out of my hand was a close second in pain level.....even the surgery pain was much less....not trying to scare you, just info worth it though and it does go away fast....make sure to take ibuprofen/pain meds before and after Thanks, that's what I've heard - no kids here either, so... I think a few minutes will be worth it though.

    I am thankful for...

I'm thankful for an amazing, supportive husband. A job I enjoy and is understanding. The new lease on life this surgery gave me. The CUTEST nephew in the world. The support I receive here. Having a roof over my head, a car to drive, and food on the table (in small bits lol). Fur babies who I love dearly. And tons of other things!!!!
