Mine was the 15th, 2 days ago. Been home from the hospital less than 24 hours. Gas pain is pretty bad, but is getting better - I'm going to leave a mark in my upstairs carpet pacing it so much to break up the gas!! Outside of that, I'm only one pound down from morning of surgery. Thought it'd be faster, but we'll see how the week goes. Best of luck to everyone!! Wishing a pain free recovery to all ???????? I dealt with that. I'm 5'11 so my weight is just spread out. Lost 12 pounds on the pre op diet, so far after surgery 3 days ago, have only lost one more. Thought it'd be more. I had a 40-41 BMI - at 27 it was time to make the change before I went on to be even more overweight. So, do what's right for you and ignore anyone who isn't supportive. Day 2 - surgery bright and early yesterday AM. hadn't had my normal meds since 2 nights ago. So I laid them out and split them, over 2 hours. Ended up having to get out of bed, or I was going to throw it all up. Anyone have ideas on how to take pills? They're prescription meds, I can't really just skip them. Hi all. Just got home today from sleeve surgery yesterday. I'm trying to stay hydrated, but it is so hard. Gas/incision pain and pain everytime I take a sip of anything. How lobby does this last?
