Lemon lime G2? I found lemon lime and orange G2 are what I cam drink right now. They do have calories - 45 in 20floz so just be mindful of that. I also drink plain old water, but if I'm struggling the G2 comes out.

Girl that dress!!!! It's stunning. Beautiful photo - you look awesome!! -
As someone who has depression, anxiety and bipolar II I'm wondering why on earth they'd take you off meds like that. I'm assuming you're in a withdrawal state - there are a lot of newer antidepressants that aren't bad with the weight gain. As stated above, a good therapist really helps. I see one every week. But, I'm not surprised you're having a hard time if they took you off meda like that cold turkey. I'd definitely see a psychiatrist and a therapist for help.

What do you wish someone had told you BEFORE your surgery?

What did u experience with fibro I have had fibromyalgia for 15 years and I will be have rny Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App My experience having fibro is that as soon as the Celebrex (nsaid) went away, pain shoots way up. This started 2 weeks before surgery for me. After surgery, my limbs go numb a lot easier. I haven't experienced the right shoulder pain some talk about, but I get more shoulder numbness/tingling than I did pre-surgery. Whatever meds you take, be prepared that they won't go down easily. Switch to liquid or dissolving if possible. I was full on nothing but my meds the first few days. Since my calories are so low, and body is healing, fatigue has shot way up. I have endometriosis which doesn't help as it has totally whacked out. -
What a difference a week makes!

Thanks - it definitely sucks when your whole midsection is misbehaving. If say 2 weeks is fine, especially if you're just walking. Mine is more like jogging to and fro. And dogs heal everything [emoji190] [emoji190] -
Up and ok at 100%

Went back day 13 to work half days. That was Tues and Wed. Thursday I worked from home and today I was able to hang until 2. I have a desk job, but in a very large building (a mile long). Walking to and from meetings when one ends at 10 and another starts at 10 was rough as it's a good hustle. I have endometriosis as well, since the surgery it's been horrid. I came home and took some serious naps. -

Mostly tired. A bit of pain, I have a desk job but our building is a mile long, so walking to and from meetings is always a hustle. That caused some pain to flare up. Also, I have endometriosis and since the surgery it has been acting up HORRIBLY. I worked half days and came home and crashed into a 3-4 hour nap. -
Mine was removed last year, however I didn't have gallstones just a malfunctioning gallbladder. I'd definitely try to do a combo.

Doing ok at 2 weeks out - definitely went back to work too soon. -

It's not shallow! Don't feel bad about yourself for any reason!!! You have chosen to make this journey, IMHO it's a tough road. Just keep moving forward, and ignore anyone being rude. ❤❤❤ -

Thanks for sharing! I'm just starting to the mushie transition, and am relieved to hear this. I went back too work this week (too early) and it kicked my @$$. Looking forward to coming out of this regret stage. -
Oh yeah, I just moved on to things like that yesterday. Hopefully I'll get more up around 600 now. Thanks!

I've lost 30 pounds in 2 weeks - don't get me wrong, losing 125 pounds is what I'm after. But is that too fast?? I get about 40oz Fluid, can get a little more every day (I'm only counting drink fluid). Protein I know I'm low on. Finally got powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury unflavored, so I get around 45g fluid. I'm only 15 days out. I don't want to ruin my metabolism. I only get 300-350 calories a day.

Wait for it to heal - I had gallbladder surgery last year and it was a total war zone, but you can only see 1 now (and you have to look fairly hard). Can't day for this surgery as I'm only 15 days out and still have some steristrips but hopefully they'll fade down to almost nothing.

Beautiful! And lovely dress choice by the bride

Friday night is also pizza night for me and my husband. I'm on mushies, looking forward to when I can make a healthy pizza at home!
-
Oh wow. What are you eating to get it in? I was on clear liquids until day 10.
-
How far out are you?
-
I'm sure I'll hit a stall. I'm just concerned with permanently damaging my metabolism. I guess I'll just stick to it.
-
Wow, that's a lot too! So glad your knees are feeling better ????
-
I think it must be week 3, when we can finally put real food in again. Yogurt, mushies, etc. (Don't go eating anything). Our bodies come out of the "malnourished" state.

My husband flat out stared at me in bed last night, bewildered and asked if I was ok twice! My sleeve is very talkative.

Turned down due to borderline personality disorder

I'm bipolar as well - and I've spoken on here with others concerning being able to take mental health meds immediately after surgery. It never came up for me (I did work with my programs therapist) but the surgeon never said anything about it. There is absolutely no reason for them to deny you - if you're stable which sounds like you're doing great, you'll probably do better than most since you regularly see a therapist! I hate the mental health stigma. Look for a program that makes you comfortable. ❤❤❤ -
It's definitely a chore for me right now. I think a lot of it is the monotony of food options.

Urgent question!

Ditto on 1 scale - I've seen 10 pound differences between some.
