    Dried fruit?

I also tried a turkey/cheese rollup. Blegh. I'm going back to mushies for a few days!

    Dried fruit?

Hmm. It's so interesting - they aren't on mine. The surgeons are so different.

    Dried fruit?

Thanks. 5 apricots is 100cal, I only ate 3. I need extra calories right now, as odd as it sounds - I'm averaging 40p a day Thanks. 5 apricots is 100cal, I only ate 3. I need extra calories right now, as odd as it sounds - I'm averaging 40p a day400

    September Sleevers!

No liquids are fine. Protein shakes are just gross, and I can only do about 1/day
  8. I know I've mentioned this in a post before, but didn't hear much so I wanted to ask again. Does anyone have any experience with endometriosis and WLS? I haven't had a period in 3 years, because it causes extreme levels of pain. Surgery recovery is nothing in comparison. I'm assuming because of the hormones, my continuous BCP isn't working. Neither my surgeon nor my OBGYN know what to say. I am in tons of pain, and the blood loss from having a period for the last month isn't helping my 500 calories a day. Any experience or insight would be great. I am up all night in pain and it's getting bad enough to where I can't even work. Help!
  9. My surgeon (male) asked me to go off my continuous BCP - his female PA told me I'd be fine so I went with her plan. Saw my obgyn yesterday - she wants to "reset" everything and take me off the pill. But I just don't know how I'd manage working. At 27, my options are limited since I don't want to give up the ability to have kids. So frustrating! Thank God my manager at work also had it for 10+ years and understands.

    September Sleevers!

I told work as soon as I got a date. If you're doing short term disability, they'll make you jump through hoops sometines to get it.

    Insomnia anyone?

I have a plethora of sleeping pills, unfortunately. I've slept less since surgery, not better. I'm only 1 month out so it could improve. But I haven't noticed a difference, if anything it got worse.
  16. I did optifast and they had a creamy chicken soup mix. It helped break up the sweet

    Sexy Halloween costume?

Yup.....started hitting the ECU Halloween block parties when I was a senior in high school and into my mid-20's. Great fun was had. They really did it up right back in those days. Not sure how it is now. My usual go-to costume was something stupidly easy.....some eye-black on one eye and spray paint a large "P" on a t-shirt. A black eyed pea was had. Stupid, I know. But quick and easy. Damnrite !!!! I'm in the MBA program there. I do think, sadly times have changed. But if you're from NC you definitely know ECU is a big party school. The biggest actually lol. Glad y'all could enjoy - it'll still be underwater this year

  20. You can share my tacoThanks...I love tacos, and since I'm allergic to fish and seafood, this is the best looking fish taco I've ever seen. Haha Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App Love it haha. I had to give up shellfish when I had my gallbladder out so I feel your pain. Now if only we could find some healthy goldfish Why did you have to give up fish? Ive had mine out for 10+ years and never had any problems. Is it a side effect? HW 385 SW 359 Sleeved 10/5/16 I don't think it's common. I had no gall stones, but it was releasing bile at 7% of a normal gallbladder. Shellfish always caused attacks and made me sick after.
  21. Only twice so far have I eaten things that didn't agree with me - ricotta bake, and now avocado. First I get nauseous but it is soon trumped by stabbing kidney pain. I'm on week 4 and get in at least 48oz of Water plus a shake, so I don't think it's dehydration. Am I alone in this? Has it happened to anyone else? My food was mushed and I was reading for school, taking a bite each page so I know it wasn't eating too fast (think that might have been the ricotta error) and it was smashed up really well. I put lemon juice and salt on it.

  23. @@Babbs and @@Lipstick lady are at goal and have been maintaining for quite a while. They are veterans that have a lot to offer and so much wisdom. Just open your mind and absorb some of the great stuff on this board. Negatively will not help you with WLS or life in general.Agree 110% - they've helped me a ton in such a short time! I need someone to kick my @$$ if/when needed!
