I've cleaned out the pantry & fridge, told my family to please be considerate as this is a struggle. They have older so it's easier but they have been eating my vegetable Soup and then I made them a special gluten filled casserole - for each week and 2 weeks after surgery- which I was never able to eat as I'm GF, that they can just heat up in the oven. The hardest part so far was celebrating my son's birthday at a restaurant last night. I was able to find low sodium soup, decaf unsweetened tea and took SF Jello while they all ate pie. I'm scheduled to be sleeved on September 26, they are also repairing my hietal hernia & removing my gallbladder bladder. I've had several test done as my GB has been causing me pain. ALL the test have come back normal, but my surgeon has agreed to remove it during WLS. I'm on medication for my GB as well. Thete has to be a medical reason to remove it to have insurance pay for it. I put some frozen veggies and small pieces of beef with beef broth into the crockpot and turned to it on. My preoperative diet allows a hearty broth based soup. The dietician suggested doing it that way. I am not blending the veggies or meats, now I am worried seeing these post that I need to blend the soup. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

I am having my surgery thete as well on September 26th, 4 days in on preoperative diet and I'm usually full and struggle to get the foods I can eat daily eaten. My surgery is scheduled for September 26th, I'm 4 days in to the pre op diet. I suspect the headaches are from caffeine withdrawal or aspartame in all the sugar free products. We all need to hang in there together to get through it. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
