I @@bkskinny, omg! I never thought I would wake up sleeveless... I was heartbroken and depressed for weeks. My best friend found my new surgeon. He is 100% comfy with dealing with adhesions and said if he needs to he will take them down. He is also a liver specialist, so if there are any issues with my liver he showing be able to handle it ( him and God, that is). I will take your advice- lots of fluids! You can do this! I'm on day 10 of my pre op diet and if I can get through this without a "cheat", you sure can! I also a revision patient.Just keep reminding yourself that it's not worth it. You want to set yourself up for success and you don't succeed if you start out by finding ways to sneak around the rules. It hasn't been easy, but when my stomach is growling, I remember why I am doing it. Drinking lots of extra fluids help fool an empty stomach too. Good luck! Today begins my two week liquid diet. I was excited until I woke up this morning hungry lol! I'm going to do my best to stick to the program and not cheat. My liver really needs to shrink because I am a revision (band to sleeve) patient and my liver and stomach are stuck together from scar tissue... I'm nervous and excited at the same time. It's not easy. When I had the band I cheated throughout the two week liquid diet phase. Now with me getting a revision and getting sleeved, I'm taking it so much more serious this go round. My liquids start on 10/12 and I'm going shopping this weekend to get a variety of things ( in compliance) so that I don't get bored. We can do this!
