Off track needing meatless protein ideas
Felinakayloves replied to mari.beth's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Tofu is higher in Protein than eggs. You can cube it really small and sneak it into anything including fruit. It soaks up any flavor you put it with. Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App -

That's what I was thinking. I'm going to call them up tomorrow and see who they would refer. I was told I could see any counselor but I rather them suggest somebody that has experience with this situation. Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App -

Very awesome! I was approved in August and I'm barely finishing month one.. I've got all my appt. close together so I can hopefully finish everything by mid november! Otherwise I'd be finished about February.. congrats on your stage 2 approval! ! I Love being an RRT! Saving Lives One Breath At A Time. Thank you. I am completely overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done. I will be having my surgery at UW. I would really love for these requirements to be done quickly. One question though did you go just anywhere for your 12 nut appointments Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App -

6 months supervised
Felinakayloves replied to Jenjen2016's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is what I'm nervous about. I'm just starting my stage 2 which is for filling all the requirements. I'm so afraid of doing all this work only for them to say no. I was told though that normally if the insurance company invest in you by paying for all these appointments that they usually don't deny you. if they do the bariatric center will fight for you and so will your primary care doctor. Insurance game
Felinakayloves replied to annieway2lose's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I never heard of them setting a set number of pounds for you to lose. I thought it was a percentage. my insurance company said I had to lose 5% of what I weigh. Then I have to maintain that loss or lose a little bit more wait until my surgery. I would definitely call them up and inquire get it in writing. Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App
