  1. I had to come home to a cleaned out home and had to move back to NC from Florida. It has its bonuses. It's like starting totally over. And generally I'm doing good. Working hard, and feeling better than I have in years. I'm paying my bills and spending time with my daughter. I had a great Christmas with her. But I spent New Years alone. I had friends invite me over, but I don't want to be the 3rd wheel. Not to mention I like having someone to spend time with. So there are good and bad points to being single. Oh...I started in late June, my first weigh in was 406.7. My RNY was on Sept. 6th, 2016. I was 376 that day. I have lost 143.3 lbs. At 263.4 lbs as of today. Hi I'm not sure which one of us you're talking to so I figured I would answer. I'm doing okay. I've lost 130.7lbs. Feel good. I walked 3.2 miles at 10 degrees incline Non-Stop. Bye bye 300!

Yeah I finally dropped to the next BMI rating which is just ridiculously fast according to them. I'm not sure where they get the numbers they have. But I'm three months post surgery in my original weigh in what's 406.7 in late June. Surgery on September 6th in today 277. 0 I'm feeling good fitting in places I never would have fit. My daughter had a MRI Friday then we went to lunch while we waited for her doctor's appointment. I sat in the booth and my stomach was nowhere near touching. Much less ridiculously uncomfortable. That alone make this well worth the journey. The embarrassment of not be able to fit into a boot no longer a problem. Is it those people who never had that problem they would never understand how good it feels to just sit in a booth. Sent from my LGUS991 using the BariatricPal App

Pre op liquid diet starts Saturday

Having a shake here or there to replace a meal helps make it a little easier. But on the downside I keep looking back thinking I could have had pizza one more time Sent from my LGUS991 using the BariatricPal App
  16. Wow you guys are mean. It's her dad. He's nervous for her. But I do agree you're an adult. And you know what's best for you listen to what he says but also know that those numbers aren't real. I worked on the drug study a few years back and they literally had to put in the morning that there was a chance of getting hit by a bus while taking the medication because 3 study participants we're sitting at a bus stop and a bus hit them. They had to go through lots of litigation to get that removed. So do what's best for you. But I don't see a whole lot of people on here saying how terrible it move it was for them. 17. The fact there's a few people who said this was a bad idea because it wouldn't last. I told them flat out that if I get 4 - 5 years of normalcy then it will be well worth the time. That's four or five years I won't have if I do nothing or change nothing and if it was so easy I would have done it a long time ago. Sent from my LGUS991 using the BariatricPal App

Well you are normal but I understand where you're coming from. I know the feeling. I'm on the treadmill right now doing this and haven't stopped in over 30 minutes. I couldn't have done that 6 months ago. Three or four minutes would have been tough. Sent from my LGUS991 using the BariatricPal App

    Will I be broken forever?

Haven't seen an update on how you're doing. But I'm hoping it's better. First let those people who want to help you help you. Second before you get up and move around the better you are. I feel like a different human being. I could do so many normal things there were a chore before. You'll be fine don't hesitate hit up anybody who's been through it as most of us have Sent from my LGUS991 using the BariatricPal App
