So tonight was our annual dinner before Halloween parade. During dinner (which I was just having Water still in puréed stage) while talking and laughing, I picked a French fry off my grandsons plate and popped it in my mouth. All conversation stopped at table and everyone looked at me, I then realized what I did. I was thinking in my head what should I do chew it or spit it out. My sister handed me a tissue and I spit it out. So happy that my family is on board with me. We all laughed about it, but I need to make sure in future to keep those fries across the table from me. Yeah I am fine with my sister doing that. She had the sleeve 3 years ago. She just did not want me to get sick. My family does not police me though. I think they just were just as surprised as me. They have been very supportive. I am very lucky. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

My one big incision still hurts, my sleeve done on 9/27. I walk everyday, keep track with my Fitbit. I try to add 1,000 steps per day. I go back to work on Monday so trying to get my stamina up. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I did my revision as many complications with mine. A few slips which meant all Fluid taken out resting it for a few months and start all over. Started having issues where port was, stomach very sensitive to touch, surgeon suggested revision. So happy I did it. Down 16 lbs since 9/27. I was on full liquids for 10 days post-op now on puréed for 3 weeks, then soft for 3 weeks. Each Dr has their own diet plan they want you to follow. My sister had the sleeve 3 years ago (different surgeon) and she was on full liquids for 2 days, 5 days puréed then to soft. I did ask at my class and was told each practice is different. Wow that's great, I had the reversal from band to sleeve on 9/27 and still having trouble getting in all Protein and fluids. I have started drinking the protein Water and on puréed now so I can eat about 2-3 oz at a time. But very happy also with my decision. Very happy for you Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Had mine 9/27 lost 10 lbs pre-op and 13 post op. scale has not moved for a week also. Very frustrating. I know I will continue to lose as I am following the correct diet, but still very frustrating. I had band removed and sleeve done on 9/28. Recovery doing well. Still trying to get enough fluids in but other than that doing good. In the puréed stage right now. I am out of work for another 2 weeks so have plenty of time to get my fluids up before I return to work.. I am down 15lbs since date of surgery. I had mine done on same day, but Dr did warn me that if there was too much scar tissue she may not be able to do both. So happy I was able to get it all done at once, then only one surgery. Each Dr is different and each insurance company is different. My insurance denied me the first time for the sleeve but approved the removal. I appealed. Showed all the fills, how much I did lose until I began having issues and all the slips. So they finally approved. If insurance denies appeal it. I had my band surgery in 1/2011 first 8 months good, but after that had so many issues. Couldn't get correct fill. Slipped 3 times and after each slip had to have all Fluid taken out and wait 3 months to start filling again. Which meant weight gain. Just did not work for me. So finally decided to do the sleeve. My surgery was 9/27 and I am down 12 pounds from day of surgery. That's almost 6lbs a week, I am happy with that. Don't expect it to stay that way but so happy. Congrats to everyone that has lost weight. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I had surgery on 9/27 and still having trouble getting in fluids. Dr said should be able to go back to work in 2 weeks which will be 1 week from today. Hoping I feel up to it.
