I had my DS on 10/31/16 and I started out weighing 310 in a size 20-22 and XXL shirt. Now I am wearing a size 6 pants and M or S shirt.

I had my DS on October 31 and I haven't had any BO issues what so ever. I will say that going to the restroom sometimes is a little smelly, but that's common for other surgeries as well in the first few months. I wouldn't stress about the odors or anything else if you haven't had an issue in the past. Scared is a drastic word. This is very rare because I have family members who have had the same surgery and does not have any issues. I hope this helps.

Mines came on while sitting in the bed waiting for surgery. I guess nervousness and being anxious for surgery triggered it. The nurses were cool about it. They gave me a diaper type thing and I was on my way. It wasn't too bad from moving to one bed to the operating table.

You are doing great. You can't judge your progress on where other are or were. I had the issue when I had my DS. But once I realized I was an individual and that my body reacts differently than most my weight was coming off faster and faster. I had my surgery October 31,2016 and I have lost 123 pounds. I haven't even hit my year yet. So, keep up the great work and you will be at your goal weight before you know it.

Surgery was a success, but I was under all kinds of drugs. Lol. I'm feeling better today documenting my drinking and doing more walking. Hopefully I am going home tomorrow

Tomorrow is the BIG Day and I am so excited. I have been thinking about tomorrow all week. The new and improved Latoya is on the way. I have lost 20 pounds with my preop diet !!

This only liquid diet is tough because you have no solid foods entering your body. I am staying strong and eating my sugar free Jello and ice pops. My chicken broth has really gotten me through every stage.

This week is my last week. I am only drinking my Protein Shakes and of course staying hydrated. Last week started off rough,but ended great. I am so excited that my surgery is next Monday ! Happy Halloween

So, yesterday on my first day of the live reduction diet, I have a handful of home cooked peanuts and a spoon full of an omelette. Did I mess up?

Well my diet for the first week is 2 shakes 2 Snacks (approved by them of course) and a lean meal with greens the last week is only shakes.

Hello everyone I met with my doctor yesterday and I have an official date ! My surgery will be........October 31st. I am so excited. I am starting my liver reduction diet Monday. I have waited so long for this. Ever since I found out my date I have been smiling from ear to ear.
