Thinking About Gastric Sleeve Surgery
Seevan replied to MelissaRose24's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's not for the faint of heart. Go to your meetings. Learn what your getting into. Most of your will be gone. That doesn't change your mind about food. If you had problems with food after surgery, unless you ready work on it this won't go well. This surgery is a tool that helps.. Pray about it.. I was sleeved in September 2016. My post op recovery was ok. Every one is different. But I studied and knew what I was getting myself into. I'm 50lbs lighter.. Feel better..... walk longer. Clothes fit better. Still some sort when I eat some foods it bothers me. Well I won't do that again. I go to my dietician as much as I can. Work out in the at least 3 days a week. I'm having some fun . Wish you well. Let's stay in touch... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App -

Now it's always good to use the therapist provided to you to talk through these emotions. Please keep your body hydrated. Eat little something when possible. I was sleeved in September 2016. We through that period after surgery. I ate sugar free popsicle s, Jello, sipped on brother from chicken noodle Soup. Your brain and body need nutrition. I'm 4 months out now. The Dr. or Nurse Practitioner will let U know what meds stop before surgery. They will also tell you when to restart them too. They want u to walk after surgery. It's good for you.
