Well I'm finally on the loser's bench. What a great way to bring in my new years. I was in terrible pain after surgery but its not as bad now two days out. Still sore and tender but it cones with the territory. Hw:305, sw: 289.2, I made through the liquid diet I did cheat the first couple of days but I straightened up and it worked in my advantage. So happy. Noe just trying to stay hydrated. Thx to all who have been following me and everyone who has given me advice along the way.

I go in at 11am tomorrow to start this wonderful journey of living. I am so nervous. Getting RNY and I'm happy excited nervous overwhelmed with emotions. Getting prepares and packing my bags. I have my surgery 12/30/16 and I still have not dropped weight. I'm doing everything I'm supposed to and eating according to the plan and Im still the same weight. Omg I've been trying the premier Protein powder and it sucks. I've tried it with milk and Water and its still no good. The flavor is horrible. The consistency is way to thick even with extra fluids added. I don't know I can't get it to taste right. Its awful. The Protein shakes are awesome but the powder is horrible. Any suggestions? So after being on my preliquid diet for seven days and just about to get ready to start my full liquid diet, my insurance tells me that the center where I'm having my surgery is not a blue point facility so it won't be approved. I am livid. I called my drs office and they call the insurance company and they say that's bs we have it on record that you told us this facility was approved and that it did not have to be a blue point facility. So now my surgeon and office manager are trying to get in contact with the medical director over the insurance to figure something out. I don't know what to do all I feel is anger and like eating. I ask them should I continue my liquid diet or should I stop she says its your call. I am blown by this, literally three days before my surgery, I have made plans with my job and everything, like what kind of crap is this. BCBS Anthem... Literally trying to find a reason to deny me how low of them. That's true I'm starting mine tomorrow. Just in case they call me to tell me I'm approved I want to be ready. If I tell my doctor I have already started the sooner he can put me in his schedule. I have a one week preop diet so I'm ready for whatever. Sent from my 6045O using the BariatricPal App

I know exactly how you feel if I were you I would have been harassing my insurance company the first week they sent my paperwork off so that you knew they were working on it. I've met all my deductibles for this year as well and I told my surgeon I will have my surgery before the first of January. I don't care if its December 31st my surgery will happen. I'm wondering ... Are you able to call your insurance company to see if your surgery has been approved or do you have to wait for your Dr office to call you?... Because I'm anxious. My surgery date I'd set for Dec 7th but idk if I'm approved yet and I really want to get this surgery done and not be held back... Any one knows the answer drop it below thx. Tell me about it. I would be having surgery in a few hours. Now I'm not even sure when it will be. I'm hoping sometime next week. But for now all I can do is pray and be patient. My surgeon is at a center of excellence which is why I'm so confused he performs tons of surgeries a year and is the hospital as well. What my insurance is telling me isn't adding up.
