I have been thinking about trying the patches too.

I started using Biotin capsules at first when I had sleeve surgery 0ct of 2016,5,000 mg twice a day and my nails which were thin as paper got hard as nails then I stopped for a few weeks totally thinned out and tearing off.Back on it after RNY REVISION SURGERY 10,000 twice a day and so much better.

I was 287 when I had sleeve surgery 0ct 2016 went down to 199 and back up to 237.9 ,just had RNY revision surgery on July 16th due to severe reflux getting worse with the sleeve. I am 4 weeks post OP and I am down 24 lbs. You look awesome and I am wondering how you got rid of any excess skin and no batwing arms. Mine already flap in the wind and I just hate it. But I just had revision surgery from the sleeve surgery to bypass surgery 3 weeks ago and my surgeon says 40 g.of protein and 64 oz.of fluids a day . Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

I had mine on July 16th and so far no reflux thankfully. But I will see once they take me off zegrid and Carafate. I no longer have to take zantac or GI cocktail. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

My surgeon's office says not to look at calories just protein and fluids. I use premier protein shakes 2 a day.30 gram of protein in each shake and 160 calories. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

21 days Post OP here and can drink all I want. Just started my stage 3 menu ,I really have felt the change in being able to get down solid food and keep it down. Omg your doing great. I'm only 3 weeks out of surgery and down 22 lbs. Are you exercising alot? I haven't started yet.One of my incision reopened so as soon as the infection is gone I want to start. Congratulations on your progress Allie in SC

Congratulations and hope you get the surgery date soon!! My surgery was 3 weeks ago and I haven't had much problem at all few minor things with weakness and dizziness, one of my incision started opening up after staples were taking up causing slight infection. Nothing major like some people have been having. Fixing to be on stage 3 menu thankfully. Lol can't wait to get to maintenance level. I have lost 22lbs since surgery. Im 3 wks po and was so sick of water i drank a 12 oz soda. Took like an hour but no problem with my stomach just the guilt knowing that I had 150 empty calories. I don't even like reg.pepsi I am a diet Pepsi drinker. But that's what was available.

So sorry to hear about the pain your having. I had my surgery 2 days before you and haven't had any of those kind of issues. I am slightly constipated and was very weak to the point of passing out. Some nausea but never to the point of vomiting. I can't possibly be dehydrated because I drink at least 6 ,16 oz bottles of water a day. If you keep feeling this way call your Dr. back. Hopefully you feel better soon. Allie

Hey, I lost 87 lbs with my sleeve surgery so I didn't think it was a mistake. Actually had np with surgery or after initial surgery. Only problem I have had is my reflux is so much worse than it was before. My gastrointestinal doctor and my surgeon have agreed that I should of had the RNY to begin with. I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning at 8 am. Hopefully it will be successful and I can stop being miserable due to the reflux. Everyone is different so don't worry about what has happened to others. You do what your doctor's and nutritionist says and walk a lot. Then put exercise routine of some kind every day. Omg what an amazing transformation!!! How did you get those non flapping arms?lol What surgery did you have? Congratulations you look awesome and thanks for sharing!! Allie in SC That's minor compared to mine. I started out with 23 in arms and now at 18 in. So I have like 5 inch hanging and I still have about 90 lbs more to lose.

Thanks for the reply Alex and I see what you mean by looking closely at the picture. I know there's always risk of complications from any surgery. I have never experienced any but I know the risks. Thanks for the encouraging words. Allie in SC

Hey Krestel, Have you had surgery yet? I'm having RNY revision surgery on July 16th and can't wait for it to be done. My reflux is so much worse than it was before I had sleeve surgery on October 25th 2016 . Hopefully you are doing great. Have an awesome day. Allie in SC (South Carolina)
