Yea...I understand. I like they aren't milky...but it is sweet. I tend to just drink it and get it over with. I used to put ice in it cause colder the better, but then the ice melted and I had more to drink...it lasted forever. So I just get it done. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App

Called my dr for help on constipation....they told me to do everything I already have been. I finally did the enema deal...lots of fun...but it helped a bit, hopefully lots of Water, laxatives and stool softener will get me through this. It's so painful. Hard to be positive. Raynbolite replied to joei0005's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm just starting wk7....I try to walk 30min 5 out of 7 days a week. I get really tired, but it feels good after I accomplish it. I'm still a big girl, and I struggle with exercise. But everyone says it gets better. Day by day. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App -

Does the sleeve effect mood stabilizers?
Raynbolite replied to busybeebug's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm bipolar too. To be honest, I'm not sure. As far as digesting the meds, with the sleeve you still have a normal tract. Everything works the same. My dr and i aren't changing my meds for a while. My body's hormones and systems are all changing, so it's hard to see what is from what. I am checking in with my med dr once a month and she's checking in with my counselor. Just keep your support system right be hind you and take it day by day. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App -

I had to come off birth control pills pre-op. Not looking forward to the PMS and miserable periods to come.I switched to an IUD...my dr thought it was a great alternative. It didn't effect anything to do with surgery and no chance of an oops pregnancy. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App

Food paranoia- tomato seeds are out to get me!
Raynbolite replied to The_von's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am 6wks out...I should wait till next Tues for raw veggies...but I had them tonight...I cut a 1/2 baby cucumber into tiny pieces, cut up cherry tomatoes and added a little vinegar...I was in heaven! Ate very slow, went down fine. I take my diet very seriously. But this was a spirit booster...hey it's not a McDonald's burger!! Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App -
Introducing food back into diet...not always happy experience
Raynbolite posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I thought well steamed veggies were ok. Tried very well steamed, petite brussel sprouts.,...but after a couple...ouch. I feel it in shoulders and chest. All I can say is be careful when introducing foods back in to your diet. It seems safe...but oops! Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App -

6wks almost 7...I've done well with steamed everything, but you are probably right about brussel sprouts. My Dietitian didn't give me any rules other than steamed very well...I'll be more careful. I'm trying veggies cause I'm hungry so often, but trying to keep calories low and get some Fiber in. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App -
I'm on 6wk...I eat one baby pickle as a treat once a day...I chew well, size is 1to2 ounces and too small for seed issues. It is just so good to taste something not bland! If I am wrong, I am wrong but it brightens my day. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App

I just wondered.... Anyone out there that is tired all the time. I eat Breakfast and do my meds, then weekdays I go for my 30min walk...once I'm done, I'm exhausted for the rest of the day. My bed time is 8p! When I have errands or soccer practice for my son...I'm so tired afterwards. Will this improve?? I read about everyone getting all this energy, when will I get some. I'm doing great on Protein, keeping fluids up and calories are where drs say...I just get tired so easily! Blah. Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App

I'm hungry all the time. I can fill my stomach, but it doesn't last long. my stomach growls and I feel it. I'm eating on a routine as much as possible, this helps. Meal, snack, meal, snack, meal....about 2hrs apart. Maybe that will help? Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App
