My name is "CAT" for short, been called that forever.
I was referred to this site by my Bariactric nurse whom i am seeing once a month along with support classes i have signed up for.
I am young in my journey so far, 3 months post op, But my mind have been on this road journey to get this surgery done for more than 30 years. Back then insurance companies would not pay for these type of wonderful operations.
I got weight loss surgery because i wanted a better quality of life. More time with my grandchildren and to feel more alive. So I can move around,& exercise more freely, I wanted "me" back, if that makes since.
The good part about this surgery is that i will actually see with this. I have HOPE and INSPIRATION for a successful future. I can't say anything bad about this so far. I do call them challenging moments because I have to get use to eating a whole new way. My taste have change a lot, but for the better. I was eating red meats, but now they are to upsetting for my stomach, Which is fine with me. I reverted some years back to eating meat, when i was a full vegan before, go figure that. But now I will revert back to my vegan ways again, which is what i have a craving for. that's so not a bad thing.
I am looking forward to my new journey ahead, Being more positive, learning a old but new way of life with my inner self reaching out to fit, yes into those size 12 pants again. heck I'm gonna buy me those jeans already and stare at them every day.
I praise God each day he is in my life, that he guided me to the door of the Dr. whose is caring and did an awesome job with my surgery.
I love to write short story poetry, I draw and and do abstract art on canvas and also a freelance photographer. My most favorite book to read and re-read is the scriptures.
I love being positive and uplifting to everyone. May God keep you bless you continually on your new journey each day and make sure you share your smiles.
Amen & amen :) :D :D
