On rechecking my racing forums, DRF allows you to edit or delete your own posts at any time, however, you cannot delete other peoples posts nor can you delete the thread, but you can delete your own post if you started the thread. The rest of the thread has to remain intact. You can edit at any time. On the other forum at Pace Advantage you can only edit for 1/2 hr. after which you must just reply in the thread but can't edit yours any longer, nor can you ever delete, so there is a variance in threads. I believe horseracing threads are much different because we actually handicap on them and they have a time stamp when you make corrections so they know it isn't before a race. Don't know if this helps any, but it is the difference in forums. I think if a person who starts the thread wants to delete what they wrote so be it, but the rest of the thread should not be able to be deleted. Just my thoughts.

It is when the urine is dark that you aren't getting enough water. You are probably drinking lots of water and that is great. I wouldn't worry for a minute. You really can't drink too much water. It is great for you. You can, however, drink too little which can lead to dehydration and lots of other things. Sounds to me like you are doing great..)

Although I know many of you don't like her, you all know I think she will be standing when it comes to the bottom two. No one else has to like Kathryn, she likes herself a whole lot. She can't get enough of getting camera time and posing. Kellie did really bad on that song she sang, but it was just one performance. Was astounded to see Chris in the bottom three but knew he was safe. Elliott has an awesome voice and is beginning to show some personality. Paris sang like a champ for a young girl. My favorites are still Chris and Kellie. Another week gone and Ace with it. I liked him, but knew he was due to go home soon.

To answer your question Alexandra, NO you cannot delete a thread you or anyone else started. If you start something, well you better be able to finish it. There is a time-stamp on the editing part too. It allows you to edit for 1/2 hr. to correct spelling and then if you want to say anything else you have to do it in a different post. I don't think people should start a thread and be able to delete it at will to be honest (ducks from all the darts being thrown), but I do like the idea of editing for a mispelled word or something like that.

Did you try the Breezie's Bra on QVC. It so sucks. I sent that one back. It was like wearing a suit of armour.

I belong to a lot of horse racing forums. We are allowed to edit and delete but there is a time stamp that goes on there. I think you should be allowed to edit because a lot of times you read your post and you have spelled something wrong you want to correct. I haven't come across any forums yet that you can't delete and edit on. Just curious where they are.

I started out on Ambien a year or so ago and changed to Ambien CR. I couldn't do without it. I have not gained a pound on it, nor has there been any change in me except getting a great night's sleep. I can confirm that unconditionally now that I'm staying with my daughter and son-in-law. I'm sleeping wonderfully on my Ambien CR and my C-Pap. I'm concerned something is seriously going on with your mom that may have absolutely nothing to do with Ambien. These are pretty severe symptoms that indicate an underlying problem. Please get her checked out......this could be far more than Ambien CR. Wish you luck. 3Loves...I sent you an e.mail my friend thanking you for all the Tony goodies and I will be sending you another after I go for my appt. on the 26th. I think we are looking at May. If I get approved alright, I have only 8 days of mushies and liquids to do...HORRAY. Vanderbilt informs me that they have never had a slippage or erosion, so that made me feel lots better. They said they have a great weight loss on the lapband so that is encouraging. I'm sooooooooooooo ready...just for the approval. All fills are included for 6 mo. at which time they guarantee you will be exactly where you belong and then you just need a check-up in a mo. or so, and I can do that here. BTW I tool Lunesta for a few weeks...did gain weight...didn't sleep well...and had a metal taste in my mouth. I was very glad to get the Ambien back.

Leener, have you eaten anymore of those chocolate bunnies  They will stop your weight loss in a hurry.
-
Jack Rabbits in Idaho get HUGE. Just thought I'd toss that in here.
-
You telling me that chocolate bunny is stuck? LOL. Hey take PhotoNut's advice and get busy following protocol here. Tomorrow is another day. No more chocolate Easter bunnies....perhaps one jelly bean and call it a day.
-
Well Leener you are now walking which is good, and you are eating which is very good. You just happened to have an off day and choose the wrong thing, but now you get to walk some more to go get another Easter bunny for the boyfriend. :Banane04:

I'm not banded yet but have heard that starting Metamucil with orange juice 2 weeks before surgery and immediately afterwards does wonders for the gas pain. If you go into surgery "with the colon :Banane04: empty it seems logical you wouldn't have as much gas. It's just what I've been told but I'm willing to give it a try.

Thank God for Medicare. Hospitals cannot overcharge them. They have a set price over and above the surgery that they allow and it has to be accepted...this is a great example why. $1000 pharmacy means probably very little pain med, certainly not $1000 worth. The other charge are rediculous and no wonder insurance companies are so leery of hospital charges. This is a good example of why insurance doesn't want to cover this surgery...who can blame them with prices like this?
-
I'm also from Idaho, but am at my daughter and son-in-law's in Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm going to have my surgery here hopefully. I am a "happy escapee" and wish I could stay here forever... I wouldn't know you because I haven't had my surgery yet and when I do it will be in Tenn. and I will be going to any support meetings here. I hope you do as well as PhotoNut has done (and her hubby Dawg) with your lapbanding. She is a great inspiration. You will get lots of support there in Idaho I'm sure. Good luck to you.

I'm happy as can be to be here in Tennessee where they know what NASCAR is. They must have been thinking of that old guy Rod Stewart...Tony would make 3 of him LOL. I'm enjoying myself and the weather. Still think Tony ran an awesome race. He can sure drive through traffic. 3Loves...thanks a bunch for the Tony goodies. Dody:)

Greetings from Knoxville. I will be seeing a surgeon at Vanderbilt on the 26th of this mo. I had a great trip and am glad to be here. Tonly led most of the laps Sun. and came from 40th place to be in the lead by the 92 lap. I found that amazing, but then he is a great driver. He had to use his car up to get that far, so it is no wonder the pole sitter won. I'm happy for Kasey, he's a cutie, but Smoke was fantastic in his driving as usual. I'm here now where everyone knows NASCAR and no one asks me "Is Stewart A Singer"....beautiful weather right now. Dody

I've had open heart surgery and I have a feeling my first wiff of crack would be my last. I saw Mandisa on Jay Leno the other night. He has all the contestants on after they lose to spin some silly wheel. OMG the outfit that girl was wearing...I don't know where she gets her clothes sense from. She had on a blue jean outfit with big ruffles around the sleeve and a huge ruffle around the waist (must have added 40 lbs.) and a huge ruffle around the bottom of the pants. She is so beautiful and talented, but she dresses like she is a size 10. I agree she had a fantastic voice. Now, as for the girl who was begging for money. I kind of felt for her at first (I buy into everything) but when I offered to help her get some press she let me know she didn't want to talk to anyone, and I sadly realized she was a fake. You live and learn, and I learned a lesson there. I don't see the shenanigans behind the camera that people talk about with Kellie carrying on over Chris....call me oblivious. I love Chris and even at 64 I listen to some rock and loved his singing Hemorrage. I also hope he wins it all. He is a family man and a very talented person. I think his fame will take him most definitely in the rock direction though. As for Kathryn she is most definitely not one of my favorites, but like I said we can't all like the same people. I'll try not to "gush" over Kellie anymore. I truly like her voice, but we all see something different in people. Anyway, I've learned never to take anything to seriously, life is too short. Have a great day.

A crack pipe might be kind of nice to have about now. I really didn't realize everyone disliked Kellie so much. I guess I'm alone in liking her and Chris, but then again we can't all like the same people that would be weird. Mandisa was on Inside Edition the other night. She firmly believes she was sent packing because of her weight. She had a great voice. I would hate to think America would do that, considering they voted so much for Rueben Studdard who was "The Velvet Teddybear". I guess I'll just like Kellie quietly and keep my opinions to myself. Consider the fact that I was the dummy that was willing to help that girl on here asking for money, and you'll realize I really must have been on crack. Thanks everyone for sharing your opinions.

I've been doing nothing but packing and repacking for my upcoming trip to Tennessee on Monday, so I missed qualifying. Tony is starting 40th...hmmm wonder what is up. If anyone can work his way through traffic it is SMOKE, unless he just doesn't have the car to do it with. Gosh, I wish I had seen qualifying. Did Tony have a beautiful blonde on his arm at this year's awards show 3loves? I'd like to scratch their skinny little eyes out If you sent me those items again on Stewart thanks. I'll let my daughter take care of them this time for me. I also want her to make me a ticker tape because I don't have a clue how. I am computer illiterate. Thanks again. Can't wait for the race. Everything comes to a standstill while that's on...I don't answer phones or doors It's my own persona time with Tony and he doesn't even know it.

I thought the egg drop soup would be the answer to my prayers. I'm not banded yet, but Kathy strongly recommends it, so I am going to give it a try. I have no idea if anyone has problems with it or not. It just sounds like a great way to get protein to me and easy to drink.

...and I would have thought you loved all animals small and large Jack just because you seem so jolly all the time. I've had two cats and it is a nuisance with the litter boxes, but they are so much fun to love on. Leener, don't stress. You probably just picked up more than you should have and it's just tender. I'm sure in a couple days you will be fit as a fiddle. Congrats on the weight loss.

I had an endoscopy done when I was in the hospital for my heart surgery (an ulcer acting up). They gave me some Versed, but not nearly enough. My liver laughs at little amounts of anything because I'm on Xanax, so it takes more medication. I felt everything, and I too was trying to throw up the (huge, very huge) tube that they were using. I finally threw a small fit and told them I could feel everything and wasn't feeling a bit of the Versed and explained that I took Xanax. They then said "oh, you require more happy juice", and I certainly did. You mean they actually just sprayed your throat with something? That is inhuman.
-
I was thinking about you and wondered how you made out. Thanks for checking in. It sounds like the problem is fixed. That's the first I've heard of that problem too. I thought sure it was the port. I'm so glad you are back home, and even happier you saved hubby some money Please keep us posted how you are doing.

There are times that anti-depressants are a major help (especially through trial and error of finding the right one). It is a known fact that some anti-depressants cause you to be more hungry, so there is a chance Wellbutrin may possibly (I say possibly) be the cause of your hunger. It takes a couple weeks for anti-depressants to really get into your body and make any difference, but sometimes it's tough finding just the right one for your needs. I take Celexa which works great for me, but probably wouldn't work the same for others. Wellbutrin is truly an older anti-depressant and is also used to help stop smoking (I don't know if it works or not). Talk to your dr. and tell him about your feelings of hunger and ask if it may be related to your anti-depressant. Perhaps he will taper you off and switch you to something else. Good luck. I have clinical depression, and Celexa helps it a lot, but there is no magic formula for depression. A lot of it is what has occurred in your life that can't be changed, and there's no magic for it. I hope you find something to help you. I don't know about the band causing depression because I'm not yet banded, but I'm sure it's tough to give up some of the foods you love.
