    Food since surgery.

You are not alone! I am 2 months post sleeved and a combination of the surgery and failure to follow the girections regarding what not to eat. I have learned the hard way. Bread ,rice and Pasta was my fix pre surgery. ..now although I tried they are my worst enemy. I no longer can tolerate them thanks to the surgery. I shop and cook with a Protein center focus. I learned that by not doing so I pay some very uncomfortable prices. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App

    African American Sleevers

Hello to all I hail to you from Philly and had my surgery at Jefferson Hospital. Their Bariatric program and staff are awesome. I am 6 weeks post sleeve. The journey has been rough but well worth it. This forum has been a blessing . Instead of calling the on call staff with questions I have been able to answer most just by reviewing some of the shared experiences. My family especially my husband has been my rock without him not sure how I could have done it. The negative reaction I have received has been from my neighbors and that is okay. I wish you well with your journey just remember who and why you are doing this. Everything will fall into place according to the plan. Listen to your doctor! Workout

I was allowed to take Water aerobics classes at my Y at 5 weeks. I love my classes and can't wait for approval to go into the gym. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
  5. I am 4 weeks post sleeved. Every day I feel stronger but far from normal. My doctor told me normal usually occurs 6 months to a year. I am still in the healing phase. With this being said ,my expectations were put on a realistic track. Slow and Easy. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
