Hi! It's great to see another Tennessean on here! My surgery is scheduled for March 17, with Dr. Charles Morton at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Who is your doctor? What part of Tennessee? -

Thanks Grace, the forum does sound great. My son and I walked for 13 minutes today. I guess it's the first time he and I have ever walked just for the fun of it. It wasn't a long walk, but I feel great. Getting started always seems to be the hardest part for me. -

I just got my date yesterday, surgery is set for March 17!! Have to start pre-op diet next week! Arg!! But I hope that will get me in the right mind-set for this major life changing event. And to top it off, I start a new job the week after my surgery. I sure hope I'll be up for it.
