  1. I'm getting sleeved in about 3 weeks and right now I'm at 403 lbs. I'm extremely nervous I'm not going to lose any weight from this surgery because I've never been able to my entire life. I have 250 lbs to lose before I reach my goal weight and that seems beyond impossible. Anyone lose any amount close to what I need to lose? How long did it take? Any tips? 2. Hey all! I'm getting sleeved on 9/24. I'm just wondering what are some things you've learned from your experience that you WISHED you had known before the surgery? Or things you were surprised by after the surgery? Thanks in advance! So excited to *hopefully* be part of the sleeve success stories! CW: 396 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. They removed the drain today since I left the hospital. I feel a lot of bubbles and pressure on my chest. I'm not sure if it's from too big of sips or gas still from the surgery. Never felt these feelings! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Well my surgery was yesterday. Yesterday I would've chosen death over what I was feeling. The pain the dry heaving everything was awful. Today I felt better but still a lot of pressure on my chest. Walking as much as I can. I'm beyond exhausted and just want to sleep. Today is Sunday and I leave the hospital tomorrow after the swallow test and fly out Tuesday. I'm terrified I'm not going to be able to handle it alone. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Omg. 239 in less than a year!!! That's beyond remarkable! And you did sleeve!? Tips please!!!! I'm actually 385 or less now cause of pre op diet (I haven't weighed in 5 days because I've been traveling). So I'd be beyond floored with similar success!!! 6. Yeah. I also agree with the whole not fasting thing. Everyone says Protein intake and Water are the number one things to focus on every single day. So to me I'm just simplifying my diet to focus on those two things and ofc cutting out sugar/carbs but that happens when you can't eat much and protein goes in first. GL love! Not going to lie, this preop diet is one of the hardest thing I've ever done. And I still have 7 days. I wish I could just induce sleep for 7 days straight and be ok because this hunger is so amazingly difficult to deal with. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
