Well my surgery is tomorrow 9/13/16 and I just ended my preop liquid diet on yesterday 9/11. I have lost about 14lbs during this time. I'm also very glad I'm not the only one that has been feeling weak towards the end of it...I even passed out twice from the Georgia heat at a cemetery during the burial rites..I was so embarrassed but otherwise that's the worst of it. I'm excited for tomorrow but also nervous about the pain but my doc gives a PCA pump so hopefully it won't be to bad. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

My friend just told me about this forum this morning and my surgery date for a Rny is on Sept 13th 2016 which was set on my initial consult visit...just got the call last Wednesday that my preop is Aug 31st and I start my two week liquid diet on the 30th...I'm so "happy" about it...I have already been tremendously encouraged by all of your stories...this for me has been something that I've wanted to do for years because nothing I did worked so when I found out my husbands insurance paid for it I was so happy....I am now looking forward to being a healthier me Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
