So I don't have a wii, does that matter, or do I need the wii with the wii fit? Can I just buy the wii fit? Thanks Michelle, I will try to look into the shipping and find out.

My Dr. told me no aspirin, but I don't know why.

Thanks. I think the absolute best thing is the tylenol. I was taking it already during the day, but yesterday I bought some tylenol pm and took it last night and only woke up a few times instead of never going to sleep like the last two days. I put this 100% pure aloe vera gel on my burn and that helped, but some of the smaller blisters on my back popped (i'm guessing) because it burned my shoulders and back so much I thought I was going to cry. Looking at the back of the "100% pure aloe vera" I saw there was alcohol in it. This confuses me.

Oh. Well that would explain the splotchiness.

I'm sorry Ezma. You have an amazing attitude, and bless you for that. I hope everything goes smoothly in the replacement of the tubing. Good luck honey. Hang in there.

My friend said she had read a study that said anything over 40 was lying. It has been suggested to me by a few people to get the brand "bullfrog" apparently that is supposed to work really well. I will try the Dreft too. Thanks everybody

Congrats on the fills you two! I know this second fill I got has made a difference. I feel more in control, less desperate. I am really happy...well besides this horrible sunburn I'm sporting. I hope that your fills work out for you too.

I burp these little mini burps while I'm eating if I am eating too fast.

When did you know that you could eat that or you could not????
ReadySteadyGo replied to jessbychurch's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
So Seafood is not too much of a problem for most people. Fish is soft and good for you. I am from Lousiana and I eat so much crawfish and shrimp. It's my fav. Now steak and such is harder make sure you chew really well. Really really well with small bites. Bread or anything bread like that expands in the pouch is painful -
I don't care who Lindsay Lohan is making out with. But she sells, writing about her sells, and if she didn't want to be in the paper I don't think she would have been caught making out with that girl. It's what she does. She has to stay in the headlines right? It's how famous people stay famous.

Finally! I am no longer 'morbidly obese'
ReadySteadyGo replied to Mom2_4's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
You know, Obese is such an ugly sounding word. Fat doesn't sound so bad coming from my lips but the way the the letters fall together in the word OBESE make me shiver. Like the word gurgle. Oh I hate the way that word sounds too. Now back to the subject at hand. Mom2_4 when I was just starting out trying to figure out if the lapband was right for me, I was going through this BMI chart, and it said I was "Super Obese" SUPER OBESE! I was highly offended and cussed the chart and told it to mind it's own damn business and that it needed to keep my name out it's mouth. Congrats on your achievement. -
Good night Jamie! you are just melting away! Looking fantastic girl.

Got Fill #2....Freakin Finally!
ReadySteadyGo replied to ReadySteadyGo's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I'm doing good with it. It's not nearly as tight as I thought it would be. I'm eating ALOT less, but solids are going down just fine. I haven't got stuck or anything...but then again I am being really careful. I haven't got on a scale since the fill, but I know I have lost weight. I would say I am pretty happy with it. Apparently, I need aggressive fills to make a difference. Thanks for asking. -
tskelli- I will be glad to hear from you more. Ezma & Lil- Watch out I'm coming up from behind. hehe :biggrin2:

Marcie Graduated (with her Ph.d in bio-chemistry I might add) so I had another friend of mine come out and take pics of her Graduation. Marcie had to leave super early after Breakfast to go do graduation stuff so Jamie (the photographer) Paula (my best friend whom I have known for 20 years) and I played around with the camara. They aren't professional or anything, or my progress pics...they are just for fun. Thought I would share. And here is a pic of me and Marcie after Graduation. I goofed and my eyes are half closed, but I still love this picture.

My Art- Sorry to any W supporters. I mean no offense.
ReadySteadyGo posted a topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
This was my submission in the "Lucha Libra" art show. I don't really do spanish art so I picked the hero theme. It's actually sposed to be supporting the troops. The lady is pregnaunt and the soldier has died. I know its kinda weird. IT's just what I was feeling. It's oil paint on fabric and canvas. The rest of everything I do is much more upbeat. I will post the happier things later. -
Just keep your head up and keep going forward.

Yeah, I can not take Advil or any aspirin related product because my Dr. ordered me not too. Still to this day. BUT i CAN take tylenol. Can you still take tylenol?
-
Oh yes. The first few weeks are rough. Your body wants food, but most of all your mind wants food. Real food that you can chew. Just have courage and strength and you can get through it. I was an emotional wreck without food and CRANKY like you would not believe but it passes and slowly a whole new you begins to emerge. Just be patient and drink your protein drinks, they help.

ReadySteadyGo replied to angela1der's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi! I was banded in Febuary so I can't answer too many of your long term questions, but anything you wanna know about the first few months of surgery I will be happy to help. Any questions about prefixes or abbrev. I will be happy to answer there is also an abbreviations section that you might want to check out. I would give you the link but I don't know how to do that. Anyway Welcome.
