Victorious Valentines - Feb. 08 - MASTER THREAD!
ReadySteadyGo replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Jaime, I'm glad to hear that having your gallbladder removed has helped you. Gallbladders being removed is common for people who have lost a lot of weight so quickly. Take care of yourself. This morning I had a band experience. I have always had a problem with restriction... I've just never felt it after the first month of surgery. Not really. Maybe a few days after my fills, but they never lasted. This morning I made myself a nutri-grain waffle. I always toast them pretty hard because I like them crunchy. Now as most of you know I have a problem with drinking while Im eating, but I have been working hard on stoping that. It's VERY against the rules and for good reasons...but I couldn't seem to stop. I've been doing good for a few weeks, but honestly I can still eat whatever I want, but I make myself stop before I get too full. As I was eating my waffle I got a pain in my chest like it was stuck there. It hurt pretty bad so I gave the rest to my dog and starting walking around. Then I started gagging and I ran to the bathroom. I suppose what happened is I "slimed" though I had NEVER done that before. EVER. It was disgusting. I did PB once or twice, but ew. Anyway, turns out I do have a band in there. I thought it had melting away seven months ago. -
I've got a new thread... again.

Victorious Valentines - Feb. 08 - MASTER THREAD!

I had a lot of fun in New Orleans. I saw a long lost friend I haven't seen in years working at the Cafe Du Mondo. I didn't diet, but I walked around five or six miles a day so I think it made up for it. I still gained a pound, but I drug my gazelle out of the closet, all that walking felt really good so I am setting it up in front of the TV. I figure one movie = 1.5 hrs of exercise right? Thats good for me. Oh and hello, my lovely lady VVs. -
And where is Esme? Does anyone know if she is okay?

April Goals Lose 6 lbs Exercise three days a week Buy new curtains Bringing my lunch to work really really helps. I miss eating with my coworkers, but it was just too hard to keep up with them and still lose weight. Tap, How are YOU doing?

Good luck BT -
Lean pockets make a little breakfast pocket that is really good with about 140 calories. That was tasty too.

One scrambled egg with green and red bell pepper, onion, a sprinkle of low fat cheddar cheese, a tad bit of butter, and a few cubes of ham It was awesome and had lots of protein. I chopped up the onion and bell pepper and put them in plastic bags so I can continue to make this breakfast when I have to go to work. It was yummy, and pretty healthy too.

jaime, I read that gallstones are very common when you have lost weight quickly. I wish you a quick recovery.

I had a bad weekend, it was so frustrating because I did good all month...Ohhhh well. Marcie and I are driving to New Orleans this weekend and meeting her twin sister there. She is turning the big 3-0 on easter sunday.

Yes, I went for a walk, and I was walking my 85 lb lab who was in very excited so I not only walked at a faster pace than I am comfortable with, but I got an arm work out too. I love her, but she is so strong. I finally got my wii fit back yesterday, I loaned it out "for a few days" to a girl at work who ended up keeping it for a few weeks instead. I missed it too. The wii has a new fitness game I'm going to buy for the wii balance board. I thought I would give it a try to change things up. Shiny, you must be so proud of yourself for all that running. You go girl. Good job Tap, I am very impressed with both of you.

I am going to a sushi party tonight, and on Saturday I am going to go to my favorite play EVER "Parrallel Lives" It is really clever and funny. I went for a walk yesterday. I am just getting back in the swing of things, but I did lose another 1.2 lbs this week. Maybe I can just continue to lose a pound a week I would be happy...Two pounds a week would be better. I would love three, but I'll take 1.

So, It probabley explains this in the thread...but is that a scale of 1-5 or 1-10?

Hi. Nice to have you.

You know, I wonder how Gibsland is, I know she was having the same problems as I was and I wish I knew how she was doing.

Shiny those cakes are purdy

So what do you guys think about a weekly weigh in? It would help us hold ourselves accountable, not to mention keep everyone in touch. If noone thinks it is appropriate I would understand, but what do you think? Yay:thumbup: or Nay:thumbdown: Wanna Vote?

You aren't whining you are discussing  I hope you and the Dr. works it out. Dvia- I think asking for a small unfill is wise, you have had issues with real food for a while now.

I ordered furniture on the internet yesterday. I think I might have an online shopping addiction. It's so easy, and fun. Shinyhappy- Get well soon. Audone- Hi glad to have you. tapshoes- Thank you. I am pretty excited. I only have about a year of crap to go to get a degree, but I'm trying to get my masters in social services...thats gonna take a while. And five inches of snow! I've been in short sleeves for a month. I can't wait to move somewhere with snow. I love sweaters, and double layering. *sigh* I will have to scan in my sketches soon. It's hard because our Scanner is having difficulty recognizing my new Dell, but we are working on it.

I start school in June. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm actually doing a lot of sketching lately. I drew something I am going to attempt to turn into a painting. We will see. This weekend I cleaned. I also rented Bolt. Cute movie.
