I don't know if it's an issue for me, but I do like to call my body parts by the correct term. Hell, I don't use text talk when I type and I insist on using correct grammar and punctuation in texts, too. Weird standards, I guess. #teamnokangaroo I love that! #teamnopouch yaaaaas! Can you stretch your pouch by drinking to much Water? I'm just curious as I feel I can drink so much being only 24 days out. Sleeved 11/14/16 HW 260 SW 230 CW 220-223 GW 120-130 HT 5"1' Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I miss coffee! What's the point of decaf?!
wendypenn replied to show1980's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I make the Protein coffee by mixing genpro unflavored Protein powder with a little Water. It turns into a paste. Just enough to make it smooth. I add the instant coffee l, hot water, Splenda and a little cream or milk or whatever you use. It's a great way to get 30g of protein and enjoy coffee. Caffeine can dehydrate you, so it's still important to get all your liquids. I think it varies from person to person. My nutritionist gave me the go ahead and I've been having it since then. Good idea! I definitely need to measure myself. I'm getting all my Protein in, and Water. However, I'm not working out as much as I'd like to considering I'm still in a little pain. I'm not sure whether to work past the pain or just wait. I did start lifting some 5lb weights today. Hopefully we see the scale move this week . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm only 1 week 6 days post op and I ate some soft food. I didn't do it because I was hungry, I did it because it was there. I feel terrible. I also ate a few Peanut Butter crackers. I chewed until it was liquid in my mouth, but I did it. I start purées on Tuesday after my 1st post op appointment. I'm afraid I may have damaged my sleeve or something. I already know I was wrong for eating so soon; I just want to know if there is anyone who made this huge mistake and still had success with their sleeve? Thanks, I'm back on track. I have scheduled an appointment with a new therapist so I can walk through the process. I see the surgeon and nutritionist on Tuesday. I'll talk to them. It's definitely a lot harder mentally than I thought. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had my surgery Nov 14th. I'm still on liquids. Happy Thanksgiving. I'm so tired of premier Protein shakes. I'm afraid I won't get my liquids in today. I have had some stomach spasms but not all the time. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
