    Multivitamin

I just had my one month post op and picked up a bottle of Bariatric Advantage multi-vits with Iron capsules. They are HUGE! A little bit of sticker shock too! I've checked the label against other ones in Amazon and none of them seem to even come close to the amounts that are in the BA Vitamins. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    First lie!

I unexpectedly had a hernia that had to be repaired during surgery, so now when people ask, I say I had a hernia fixed and I'm not lying! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Retried beans

One of my first "real foods" was a few tablespoons of refried Beans with a couple drops of Siracha on top. You'd think it was the first time I had ever tasted food. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I chew it every day. Helps with the late night munchies. It's simple...don't swallow it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Preparation and Recovery

My entire process took just under 6 weeks. After reading this forum for the past few weeks, I'm pretty sure my process was insanely fast compared to pretty much everyone. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    For the ladies

I had Endometrial Ablation done a couple years ago. I can't recommend it enough. I am SO happy I did it. Obviously, this is not something you want to do if you want more kids and unless your hubby has been snipped, you'll still have to use some form of BC. I haven't had a period in over two years, yet all my reproductive organs are intact as well as my hormones. Did I mention NO PERIODS whatsoever?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    3month out calories

My plan, starting 29 days post op, calls for a regular diet of 1000-1200 calories per day, no less than 800 calories and 60-90 grams of Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Question on daily fat goals

I think it's just my OCD talking. Lol. Since they are set to zero by default, it drives me crazy to see those red, negatives each day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. My stall happened on Day 6 and lasted almost 2 weeks. Yesterday I woke up to a 3 pound weight loss and today a 1 pound weight loss. Everyone talks about a 3 week stall. I think I just hit mine early and it sounds like yours is right on time. Hang in there! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How do I know when I am full?

I'm 21 days post op and one of my first few days on soft food, I ate one or two bites too much and boy did I pay the price. I spent 2 hours lying down and in horrible pain. It was awful, but now I'm kind of glad it happened. It really showed me my limits and what could happen if I exceed those limits. Good lesson learned. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  21. I had an initial surgery consult and got my blood work done that day. Came back a week later for my NUT appointment and Psych eval. Two days later I came back for my Exercise Physiology appt. a couple weeks later and had an Endoscopy and a final consult "refresher". The following week I started my 10 day pre op diet, which included 3 shakes and 1 under 300 calorie meal per day. Then surgery. Start to finish was less than 6 weeks.
