You shouldn't. We are told not to eat and drink. It was something that was made clear to me by my bariatric team and by the written materials I was give. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

LittleBill, you wild thing. Just remember before the Mrs gets home to take out the trash, pick up your clothes and most definitely don't forget to put the toilet seat down. Lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

I haven't had my surgery yet. My surgeon started me on taking my vitamins in October. I have been letting my chewable multivitamin dissolve in my mouth for the most part. Hoping I can do that after surgery. Will see what my taste buds think of that. Lol

Has anyone gone away on a vacation 3 months after surgery?
kimberb replied to Lilikchen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
How was your energy level the first couple of months after surgery? I am having surgery on 2/9/17. I have a camping trip scheduled for the 1st week in March. It is in my motorhome. My hubby wants to take me on a cruise to Mexico and visit some Mayan temples for My 50th birthday. Lots of activities with both trips. I'm just wondering if I'm going to be up to it? -
Wow, I never knew you could get a yeast infection under your tongue. Have you talked with your primary doc?

Has the Mrs. returned yet? Was the wine drank from a solo cup? Lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the https://siteowners.tapatalk.com/byo/displayAndDownloadByoApp?rid=87332]BariatricPal Haha, I'm not that far gone. I was using a small coffee cup. She's not due back for a little while. It's kind of boring around here without her. And what's wrong with a red solo cup? They are a staple here in TX. I've had my fair share of alcohol from them over the years, but wine deserves a glass! From an earlier post littleBill said while the Mrs. was gone he was only doing plastic and paper cups, plates etc. Nothing wrong with red solo cups. Have them myself Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using the BariatricPal App

I originally thought the same thing, but I've noticed a few on Instagram who are able to have facial piercings left in, so it's confused me! I'll take them out if I have to, suppose this is something to ask my surgeon asap. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I'm having my surgery on Feb 9th. I was told no jewelry. I'm hoping that my recovery is like yours. I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago and the first week after it was hell. Lots of pain and nauseous. Then I had to deal with constipation.I had emergency surgery. Gallbladder was very ticked off and I think flipped me the bird as it was removed. Lol I really appreciate all the knowledge I've gained since joining this forum. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

For those of you who did not have "food funerals":
kimberb replied to TheRevisionedVagabond's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I reached my surgery goal weight in Oct. I have a Premier Protien shake for Breakfast, high Protein low fat lunch then eat whatever I want for dinner. food funeral, nope. I've been bouncing between 2 & 4#'s below surgery goal weight since end of Oct. I weigh daily and enjoy my food. I know once my pre-op diet starts I'll be no longer having the things I eat for dinner for about a year. It's not forever ( I constantly remind myself of that). I may not even like most things I like now after surgery and if I do eat them it will be in very small portions. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App -

From what I've learned after surgery your body does not absorb medication the same. I take an anti depressant that is timed released. I will have to change to the other type. Talk to your physician they will tell you what you need to do. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using the BariatricPal App
