    For anyone needing encouragement

I'm sure it will.....I like how you refer to the honey moon stage! Lol I'm ok with and when it slows down and I'm sure I will hit the bumps in the road as it seems to be the common issue with everyone....I'm just excited for everyone who makes this huge decision and the transformations no only of the shape of their bodies but most of all the feeling of better health! 2. Started the sleeve process on 9/7/2016 with 1 week Clear liquids sleeved on 9/14 it will be 3 weeks tomorrow and I'm down 31 lbs! For ANYONE out there thinking they can't do it, or struggling with anything in the gastric sleeve weight loss area....don't get discouraged! I am a previous bander and I honestly believed this surgery wouldn't work for me, or as well as I hoped, but 31 lbs in 3 weeks?!? I haven't even started working out yet! Be more committed to making a change and the weight loss WILL happen....little by little it will happen! Removing my band in Dec 2015, waited 9 months per the dr and it is by far the best decision I've ever made! Can't wait to see what size I'll be in by christmas!!!! GOOD LUCK everyone! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App Ps....starting wight 304! This morning 273! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

    5 days post op nausea

To help with nausea sniff alcohol pads.....I've been to the point it was just about to come up....sitting in front of trash can waiting and smelling those alcohol pads....works immediately Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  4. My Dr made me wait at least 9 months.... said people who wait less have a higher risk of complications.....band out 12-2015 sleeved 9-2016 Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  5. I stayed on mine....it helped with energy when I started my clear liquid diet. If your Dr says you can, I would continue taking them until they tell you to stop, usually up til surgery.....depending on your Dr. I was sleeved 9/14/16....haven't taken any since surgery but I'm also off work so a mass amount of energy isn't top priority yet lol but once I get back up and on my feet I will finish my rx to help with the gym but after that I'll quit. Good luck to you! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

    No drinking with meals?

My doc said our "pouches" cannot be stretched because the elastic portion of the stomach had been removed. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App If you couldn't stretch your stomach then why would they have sleeve revision surgery? Is VERY possible to stretch your new sleeve or pouch out. That's a huge reason some have issues with weight regain after a few months post op WLS Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  7. Sending lots of prayers for you!!! It will definitely be worth it! Good luck to you!!! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  8. Same here....Un banded in Dec 15 then sleeved 9-14-16 not even off liquids yet. Extremely nervous that the sleeve won't work at all bc of that stupid band. Lost 80lbs in the first 2 years....banded in 09.....once I had my son in 12 it's like it quit working, kept having to have Fluid removed to be comfortable gained everything right back. I know my worries are just my insecurities....but there will always be that nagging in the back of my brain telling me nothings going to happen. I lost 18 lbs on my 1 wk clear liquid diet and an additional 3 lbs since....go for my 1 week post op appointment mentioned tomorrow....we will see how soon to expect things to happen.....I'm good with it coming off slowly....as long as it's coming off. Good luck on your journey! Keep posting and let us know how it's going! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  9. I come straight home from work and go to bed lol day #2 of pre op liquids.....PUKE......I had to do this with my lap band surgery.....HOW DID I EVER MAKE IT? I did have about 5 pcs of popcorn last night ???? hope that doesn't screw up surgery chances on the 14th!!!! Today I haven't had any regular food, stayed true all day down to the last choked bite of lime Jello.....good luck to everyone else who is going through this and anyone that is going to do it......just remember it does suck however, once at the hospital the struggle is gone!......well.....with the mind it is lol the end results are SO worth it!!!! Did you ever have second thoughts?

I'm having surgery on 9-14 as well but I start my diet next wed.....I think you are just nervous and that is TOTALLY normal....I had the band in 09 and I felt the exact same way you do.....band was removed in Dec due to complications and I'm totally terrified I'm not going to lose weight at all! Now I know that is just me being nervous of another WLS but we will make it! Just keep thinking of yourself when all the excess weight is gone and you FEEL fantastic bc you will! Good luck to you! 12. I had the band in 2009 and just had it removed Dec '15 due to intolerance, now I'm waiting for the sleeve, hopefully September sometime, and my biggest worry is this same thing! I've already had 1 WLS fail I really don't want this one to fail. Did your Dr specify why you needed a revision to your new sleeve? I'm really nervous I'm going to follow all the rules and won't have any weight loss as this is what happened with my lap band towards the end. Congrats on getting your new sleeve finally working for you! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
