Resources for Meal Planning / Prepping? Dealing with head hunger?
lelewatson replied to mari.beth's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My calories usually are between 800 to 1000 and I drink 65 ounces of liquids daily as well. I'm about 65 day post o.p. I hope this helps. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App -

Resources for Meal Planning / Prepping? Dealing with head hunger?
lelewatson replied to mari.beth's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I googled a lot of meal prep on the web. I usually just make up a couple of meals on Sunday and I do three regular meals and split it in halfs for six meals. I don't eat all of them in one day because I drink a Protein shake on the way to work and after work I usually eat a high protein snake. So throughout the day I eat 5 or 6 small meals. I do eat meat but I eat a lot more fish since the surgery meat is very heavy on my tummy. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App -

Have you tried the reset. Like start with a liquid diet and soft foods all over again. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App -

I'm eating pretty clean. Protein, veggies. No bread, rice or Pasta. Drink at least 65 ouces of Water, no pop. Pop stretches your stomach. I haven't started raw veggies and salad yet. I pretty much eat soft foods. Soups are my go to. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App

Venting here! I had me surgery 9/20/16 HW:240 SW:226 CW:204.6 and I have been working hard to follow the rules. I feel I'm strong and with the sleeve in place I would say I'm doing good. I'm a slow loser but that's ok. With that being said a young lady that I know had the sleeve about a month before me. She eats everything. chips, bread and all. She says she is done losing weight and she is trying not to lose anymore. It really bugs me when if I don't drink enough Water my weight is stalling. How many people are losing too much weight? My surgery is November 9th and I'm so nervous due to liver problems
lelewatson replied to StacyO's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would say a fatty liver would not you from having the surgery. You would have to be on a pre op liquid diet for about month is all or more. The liver will shrink then. That the whole purpose of the liquid diet pre surgery so the liver is shrunk and they can get to your stomach better. So no worries. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App -

Anyone have spouse leave? 1 week post op.
lelewatson replied to veryblessed's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sorry for your losses ladies. My prayers are with you both. @@veryblessed honey run. Run while you have the strength. This guy doesn't love himself please don't let him drang you down with him. Sometimes we let people (men) in too deep too fast. I did but God saw me out of a 12 year marriage to a man I'm pretty sure never loved me truly. When God opened my eyes I ran so fast his head was spinning. Lol! He tries to say he is sorry because his congence is eating him up now. I told him I forgave him a long time ago and what he is going through is between him and God. I have a new guy after years of being along just to figure out what I did wrong in that relationship. It's not perfect but nothing ever is. We get along, pray together, like the same things and he loves me. You need to find someone that will love you, pick you over drugs, and sometimes over family. Good luck, you're in my prayers. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App -
