Hope you took the advice of the previous comments and contacted your primary care physician.........please don't try to second guess what's going on for you!

I think one of the nicest things you can do for your surgeon and their team is to write a glowing online review........the gift that keeps on giving I also sent a beautiful card to my surgeon and his staff. They were wonderful.

I'm a Realtor in Northern California. I strongly encourage all my buyers to get a Home Inspection (about $475+ depending on size of house, location, etc), a Pest Inspection (about $275+ depending on size of house, location, etc), if the house has septic or well I would strongly recommend having those inspected as well. I always, always gift my buyers a comprehensive home warranty at the time they purchase the house. Wishing you the perfect home!! -

I'm 4 months post op and struggling with meals. While I eat chicken/fish/pork/beef/turkey it doesn't sit very well and I can only get down a few small bites. I've started a bad habit of supplementing with crackers because they go down so easy......even though I know they offer no Protein, not much in the way of nourishment are a bad substitute for protein. Anyone have any suggestions for little mini-meals that are high in protein? I'm really drawn towards the "creamy things" like Soups and casserole type dishes but know they are high in calories and typically low in protein. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Suggestions needed..............

Thank you for all the suggestions. The Fair Life Milk has been so helpful! I had never heard of it and feel excited about the 13 grams of Protein per cup with minimal sugar..........yippee! It's so amazing how supportive and helpful everyone has been throughout this process. It's nice to have a forum where we can share ideas, information and solutions. Heartfelt thanks to everyone. -

My mental battle with Food and the scale

I think slow is better for most people...........it gives your body time to adjust. We live in a time where we want everything instantly and sometimes slow is the way to go!! Sounds like you're doing really well!! -
I had my surgery on 8/17/16 in Mexicali and I've lost almost 50 pounds........but I've read other posts where others have lost much more - dogmom 1204 lost 60 pounds in 2 months (very awesome). I usually just lose a little bit each week but I'm happy to lose more slowly.......as long as I lose. It's such an individual journey and we're all so different. I think you're doing really well especially since your surgery was so recent. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I think the Ideal Protein products are pretty tasty compared to many other products. I had some success with it but haven't used it since my sleeve. You can find information about it online..... I didn't have a local doctor in my area so I did my via phone and online check-ins. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I certainly did.......doctor told me to walk as much as I could to help relieve the pressure. It was mostly in my upper chest and around my collar bone. It went away after about a week. Good luck to you as you begin your journey. I'm 4 months out and it was the best decision I ever made Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Why is weight loss a one size fits all scenario here? Different goals call for different approach
chuswysly replied to Tootsietoes's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 4 months post-op and have been on this forum from the beginning. I've found it helpful to know there is more than one way to do everything. I think the one point that seems to be clear is that everyone has their own, individual journey.........we each need to find our way.......find what works work us. I have found everyone to be respectful, polite and friendly. I learn something from every person who chooses to post information about their journey. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season.......however you choose to Celebrate Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
