your close to surgery, i can't remember what you can have and what you can't...but use a blender to mix ice, unsweetened almond milk and chocolate Protein powder... after surgery you can add other things like fruit to a vanilla shake and plain greek yogurt... but how much fat? is it worth it? Sent from my SM-S820L using the BariatricPal App -
all depends if it is an occasional occurance or if someone has gone out of their way to try to destroy you to the point of a nervous breakdown for years..i have had it happen to me and though my attorney at the time drew up paperwork for me, i didn't go there as i didn't want to cause pain on my children. I had someone torment me through the legal system for years, i had enough proof that he did so just to inflict stress and pain on me, which is why my attorney drew up the paperwork. my abuser was fortunate that i love my kids more than myself. by the way, you can sue people for excessive emotional distress...record everything...find out first your states requirements..some states dont allow you to record people without their knowledge to use in court and some do....Maine only requires one person to have knowledge of a recording... audio record and or video record everything...get copies of police reports also...there should be a law against criminal threatening....??? i would talk to a lawyer...first consult is usually free. i wouldnt give her the time of day..none of her business...when people are angry like that it is because they hate their own life and need to take it out on someone...still, i would have a hard time not feeding the frenzy and tell her, that her parents must be proud.... i would find alternatives to Peanut Butter because there is so much fat, if you must, almond butter is better... but greek yogurt is a good alternative, chicken breast has a high Protein count....mozzarella cheese sticks-light for a snack. pinterest has alot of good ideas..check it out. Hadenough2 replied to quirkhorse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i just had appointment with my dietition today...she said at 4 weeks out it is average to do 400-600 calories but by week 8, i should be at 700. i am at 4 weeks out and getting between 400-600 calories. i have been tired alot too, besides flintstone chewable Vitamin, and chewable Calcium, she also recommended at least Vitamin D, 2000 ius...at 4 weeks out i can do gummies or the soft gel vitamin d...this will help with tiredness. with the sleeve you get acid refux for about 6 months or so until your body adjusts and so you have to take prilosec to keep the acid level low while healing..... if i have to take prilosec long term it is going to make me wish i did the bypass. Sent from my SM-S820L using the BariatricPal App -

it will get better as after the surgery, you wont feel hungry....but yes, i had frustrations too, when i would feel them building i would verbally remind my family that i am running on fumes so plez help me out and work with me here...my husband stopped cooking aromatic foods and did salads or sandwiches so as not to stir up anxiety with food...lol...i would let out alot of my frustrations just vocally reminding my family alot " I am hungry" when ever the urge struck me...lol...my husband laughs and jokes about it now...even the nurse at the hospital on my way in for surgery....lol. Enormous Weight Loss: Just the Tip of the Iceberg.

you are beautiful no matter what size you are, you just chose to make a change in your life...i know, society's perception makes me angry, i know several "thin" people who are unhealthy with diabeties, high blood pressure, cancer, etc... i was 100 lbs overweight and i was considered healthy- blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar...etc....surgeon said my organs looked very healthy....weight doesnt equal unhealthy...i remind people that i do have feelings, no matter what size i am...if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all.
