:tt2:Woohoo. I am down 36 lbs. Can't believe it. Still a bunch to go but a third of the way there.

Well I hit 34 pounds this morning..woohoo. I had a 2 cc fill last Thursday and have lost 5 pounds as of today. I am so glad I got the fill, but wish I hadn't waited so long out of fear since I had gone 6 wks with no weight loss. I went from a 24 to now an 18 so far...wooooooohooooooooo.

:thumbup:I had my first fill yesterday...I was banded by Dr. Rod June 4th of this year...and have lost to date 30lbs with no fill. I had gone 6 weeks with really no weight loss so I decided it was time for my fill. I got a 2cc fill (I have a 4 cc band) and can tell I have restriction. I am able to keep soup and liquids down so far. I have already lost a pound since yesterday's fill. I am hoping this was what I needed because I was getting really discouraged. I was told by Dr. Rod and by others that any weightloss you have prior to your fills was considered icing on the cake so I am hoping that is the case.....with me. I think had I not been exercising I would not have lost or might have even been gaining back these past weeks. Has anyone else experienced my similar story and if so how are you doing now? It is nice to not feel HUNGRY...I tell you for the first time in my life I know what it is to be content without haveing overeat to get there. I don't feel the constant hunger PANGS and the constant need to eat. I never realized just how hungry I always was. As I set here right now my stomach is churning and growling, but I am not hungry...and I love it. I guess that is the sweet spot everyone has been talking about. I felt it right after I was banded up until I started not losing and I could tell that I was hungry and I was snacking and eating but it was gradual and I didn't know just how much I was eating until now....it's 10:30 and I haven't had a bunch of mid morning snacks or anything...woooooohooooo

I got my first fill today at Dr. Richard Carter's office in Arlington. The staff was nice and it didn't hurt all that bad...but it wasn't great. He was very nice and I will be returning for my future fills. It did cost me $300 and I was banded in Mexico, so he does take Mexican patients. Down a few more pounds...woohoo. It is starting to fall again. One month and nothing and now it starts moving..

Yes I know I am referring to a previous post about Dr. Marsden where it was stated that he took Mexican banded patients. I called and the nurse told me that they did not accept them.... Not Dr. Stephanie. Have heard some things about her that I am not comfortable with using her.

I actually called Dr. Marsden's office and they said that he didn't accept Mexico patients. Who did you talk to?

I started the daily plate.com and wow I was eating to many calories..and didn't even realize it. I still need a fill because the hunger pangs are coming back..and that is why I am eating because I am feeling hunger. I have added some jogging..and I use that loosly.....more like a FAST walk..hahaha. I am going to schedule my fill and go from there. Thanks for the Dailyplate info. It really has helped me shed some light on my choices...amazing...and to think I was eating like 3 times that before..no wonder I was FAT now I am just a little chubby..or so I like to think....at anyrate it will be weight I will never see again. Adios for good.
