I just had surgery less than 24 hours ago and I've been going pretty much every 15-30 mins. Even after I got discharged, I made sure I peed before we left the hospital.We live over an hour away from the hospital and I had to stop to pee less than halfway into the drive. By the time we were 15 mins away from home I had to go again but I held it until we got home. Our apartment is on the third floor. Everyone was worried about me going up 3 flights of stairs but I had no trouble at all because I was so focused on making it to the bathroom before I had an accident Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@HopefullnVirginia my surgery is on Thursday too! As I get older, I realize that some people can never comprehend how certain experiences feel until they have to go through them themselves. Don't ever let another person make you feel bad about who you are. You made a great decision by taking this step to gain a healthier lifestyle and to lose an unhealthy one. We all have felt bad about our weight at some point which is what made us all consider bariatric surgery to begin with! Hello everyone, I'm scheduled for surgery on Thursday (Sept 22). How long was it before you started to notice changes (weight loss, eating habits, different cravings, clothes fitting differently, etc)? Even on this liquid diet, it was rough at first and I swore it wouldn't get easier but I really don't crave certain foods as much and it's only been a couple of days!
