Bandana replied to SherryW's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Sherry I think about you and hope everything is okay since your revision surgery.Good luck with the muschies. Cas 60 lbs is great and don't tell yourself any differently. But your right, I see that those who exercise lose more. So . I know first hand because exercising is real hard for me to do also. I've been at a plateau because I can't get my butt in gear. But I'll keep trying. signgirl good work -

Red Tulip That was a wonderful post. It is truly inspiring to both newbies and oldies. Thanks. -
Thanks Lynn I"m definitely doing to get some. Does anyone else have a 15cc band. That's what the doctor says I have but I don't see anyone else with one.
-
Red Tulip Thanks for the update. I like the name. I've seen it on the posts but I didn't know it was for Jan 08. I like the logo. As soon as I have time I'll try to get the logo in my profile. I'm spastic when it comes to computers. Right now I'm exhausted and ready for bed. Going to Atlantic City tomorrow to win some money on my penny machines. Thanks again. Hey Kaninag

Bandana replied to Southern Missy's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Congrations Thin That is amazing. WOW. Keep up the good work. 104 lbs is amazing. Congrat to Mis Melis and Mom too,. That's great work. I'm down 89 lbs also. I'm having trouble staying there though, I'm fluctuating with these last pounds and can't wait till it's consistently down. But we'll get there! -
There is already a Jamming January 07 Bandsters. I'm leaning towards January Jamboree, I think it sounds like more fun. Kcintx what do you think of the choices. Eat Slow, Chew Good and take Little Bites
-
Hooray for You Down 67 lbs that's great! Keep up the good work.

Today is my Bandaversary. I still have a ways to go but I'm down 86 lbs. Wow! Not bad, I know others have lost more in a year but oh well. I need to get back to my band rules and exercise more. I'll do this this year. I hope to hear from others about their bandaversaries.

I was banded on 1/28/08. Did you get a fill 2 months ago? I've been at a plateau the last couple of months and since I started walking the "dreadmill" (just 3 weeks ago) I lost 5lbs. And I only do about 30 minutes 2-3x a week. Eat Slow, Chew Good and Take Little Bites!

I gave it some thought about the January slogan. What do you think of these: January.....Jumping Beans Jet Set Jet Setters Jamboree Jam Sessions Journeyer's Jelly Beans Winners "Losers" Are there others you think are better?
-
Sharona, Thanks alot. I don't know how this worked , but it did. thanks. Now will I have to do the same thing weekly to update it? Fenton - THE CLAW - now that was a hoot!!!!! LOL!!! Congrats to all you "losers"- what great numbers
-
Hope this works with the quote thing

Thanks for posting. Way to Go Now it's time for a beautiful Pedicure. LOL. Congrats on getting out of the "X's". I felt great too when I got there. 116 lbs WOW. I'm down 90lbs. Needless to say can't wait for the other 10. Was at a plateau for about 3 months. I'm having problems with getting to the right fil level. They doctor goes up and down .25 or .50 and it's too tight or too loose. They don't be able to take out in the middle range. Do you see that also?
-
First time weighing in. Does someone mind adding me to the list. I didn't lose a pound from last week. But I did go up and down on the scale daily so I feel like I have a loss, after a long struggling week. Do you guys have a deal how often you get on the scale each week. Right now I'm doing daily. Congratulations Potatie. Sugarbean, and Scrappy Friend - way to go. I know this isn't an easy journey, at least for me it's not. I can't wait to get there. Down 90lbs! Fenton - so glad to hear the resolve in your voice. I gained 3.5 lbs this week and finally got them off by today. I don't know you well but you seem like a hoot! . By the way , what does the CLAW mean and what does KPOD stand for? congratulations on the 100 LBS!!!!! Way to Go

Finally I did it. Yelp!!!! Lost 5 lbs and at my goal of 160. I've been struggling going up and down a couple of pounds but I think they are off for good at this point. Had to up the exercise from none to some. crzytchr - I hope you do't mind updating me again on the goal list. I don't know how to do this. Would you mind? I'm ashamed to even have to ask - I should at least be able to do this. Can't figure out how to get a ticker also. I've been meaning to take some computer classes. I'm obsalete. I can't spell either LOL Anyway thanks. And keep up the good work getting to your goal. Long Just wanted to congratulate you on reaching the big 100 mark. Great going. -
How's the old group? I was hoping we could get together again and chat about how wer'e doing one year out and talk about our struggles with like exercising, chewing slow, restriction or no restriction, healthy eating tips, etc. But let's not forget about the good stuff - how much weight you lost in the past year!!!!!! Come on back. Let's get a January 08 group going again.
-
Good Morning all you Bandsters Tess I'm sorry to hear about your MIL. Hope she has a speedy recovery. Fenton, thanks I'll definitely weigh in on Friday. And a very very happy congratulations on reaching the 100 lb milestone. Great work.
-
Good Morning to you Happy Birthday Ebony Rose. Isn't it great when things start zippering that never fit. Or that you can go down a size or two and have the cloathes already in you closet (for all that saving to get back into them). I've been really watching my intake too. Even on "diet food" you can gain weight if you eat too much. Good luck with the rowing machine. You can do it.

Hi everyone, I was reading your thread and find the friday weigh ins enticing. How are you guys doing with this?
-
Hi Girls How is everyone doing today. Just wanted to check in. I'm having alot of trouble losing the weight from my wonderful meal Friday night. I'm so annoyed that I was down 5 lbs and then I blew it and these pounds just don't want to come off. I have to say I literally had to force myself, but I did get on the treadmill yesterday and today. SNV for me. How'd everyone do with their supervowl parties. Talk to you soon.

Michaele Sounds great. I would love to get together. This band thing must be still very new to you. I know my first couple of months was all about adjustments cause I was still hungary. Looks like you're doing great. What do you think about the snow. It wasn't too bad, except I usually let my dog out in the yard and she won't step into the snow so I have to walk her around the block. Oh well, guess it's just some exercise for me, but it is cold out there. Kat, Hope all your loved ones' feel better.
