    Question/statement

@outsidematchinside. Thank you for the tip. I was worried. I told my doc about mowing and walking long distances. I live alone right now so some things are a must when you live in the city, wasn't able to get someone to mow or get the weeds so I did it myself it wasn't bad but I'll take your advice into consideration thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Gas pains

My surgery was on the 4th. No gas pains but I probably walked 2 miles while at the hospital after surgery. Walking helps gas at least that's what they say. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Buyers remorse

Hey Mangolicious good to hear the remorse passed. I'm 10 days out and I only felt my remorse the day before surgery. Took my wife out to eat and see a movie while I was on the day prior only Water heh. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Wondering why?

It is weird I think the same way. I did not get out on a diet prior to surgery. And at 10 days I was told if I think I could start other foods to try it. While on the other hand people are eating liquids still mandatory. It's weird Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Hey Marsse, I'm 10 days post op. No food issues. It looks and smells amazing but I know right now it would hurt going down hah. Other than that I enjoy the puréed food I can eat right now. I haven't felt hungry or full so far but from reading all the posts here it effects everyone differently. Mind can do crazy things. Woke up from a food eating dream this morning. Insanity Workout Anyone?

Hah, loved Insanity workout and actually taught it at a gym for a bit before my injury which led to depression and weight gain. I haven't been cleared for workout yet (10 days post op) but I can't wait. When I get cleared I'll let ya know Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. Hello everyone, I saw my surgeon in June of this year and I had my surgery on August 4th, 2016. Surgery was great it only took an hour and from the time I was put under to woke up was only 3 hours'ish. Post surgery was easy, sips of Water, walking around, peeing in a container. This was my very first surgery in my life. Took my medicine by mouth no problem, no nausea, no catheter, and no real pain, all good stuff. I woke up ate some chicken broth drank more water and went home. Went back to work this past Friday. I am a little over a week post op and have lost 17 pounds. Still no real pain just slight discomfort if I move quick. I have mowed my yard and continue back working out the day week 1 was over so back to 4 miles a day, tried running but it felt weird so back to walking. Doctor said no lifting tried push-ups and sit-ups. Both doable but felt weird. Eating is fun honestly. I'm on creamy stuff this week and I love Soups and yogurts and Protein shakes so it fits. Lil worried about the amount I'm I taking but will see how the weight is a month out, appointment on the 29th so a few days short. I feel like I am eating all the time now compared to before surgery I'd only eat maybe twice a day due to work and schedule. I am excited for week 3 mushy foods. I have yet to feel full or anything so I'm hoping this next week I may get that chance. I still don't feel hungry and I am not experiencing hunger pains. I will most definitely keep you all up to date. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
