Thank you for the encouraging words. I don't have a pre-op liquid diet, just low carb high protein the week before, so I guess I am lucky there I can't wait until it's over. I'm June 10. I am also VERY nervous, but I am more scared of what will happen if I DON'T have the surgery. My pain will continue to get worse, My bp and cholesterol will probably get higher. And who knows what else will happen (heart disease, cancer diabetes etc) I HAVE to do this!!!! You'll be telling me 2 days before my surgery how well it went for you and for ME not to be scared!!! Thank you! I know that I NEED to do this. I have lost out on so much life because of my weight. (Never married, no kids of my own, low paying job, no confidance, health issues) I'm ready to live. And live pain free! I want to be there for my neices, (they are like my kids) without this surgery, I am only going to get older, fatter, and sadder. I'm so happy that you now have the life you want. I.started the process in December (taking my time since I knew all along that I wanted surgery in June because I'm off all Summer) I know I just need to get over it, suck it up and think more about the future.
