I just had my first fill and also have a 10 cc band they put in 3cc it didn't help at all. I wish I could get another fill soon so I don't gain all my weight back from the pre op and post op.

HEy I understand I mess up after post op I had eat a little bit of meat. It was my bad I felt like I messed up and I had something stuck in my throat for a couple of days. You will be alright. If you start throwing up that is when you have a problem. Everyone makes mistakes at least it wasn't a big steak right. You can beans on your mushie stage. Just wait for your fills I hope I get my fills so for my restriction. Good luck.

I had 3cc put in my 10cc band and I can still eat pretty good I havn't lost any extra weight. I am hoping the next fill will really help me out. Also I would like to ask a question if you have no restiction from the band is it possible to stretch it out"? I was just wondering cause some times I eat a little more than I am suppose too. If any one could let me know I would appreciate it very much.

Hey :biggrin2:I was just wondering if some one could give me some advice. I get my first feel next thursday and I am eating solids. I have cut down but think I still eat more than I need to. Well compared to the liquids for almost a month. My question is during this stage will I mess up my band before I get my fill. Will they know if it is mess up when I go in for my fill? I would cause you know why you sure won't have it for a couple of months maybe never again. That was my last meal just don't cook it cause it might burn and then it wouldn't even be worth it.

Hey the other day I eat some chicken all cut up with other stuff like mash potatoes. I felt fine eating it took a long time and chew well. Well the night that this all happend it felt like there is something in my throat. I think I have food stuck there how do I get rid of it? Why does it feel like that? Has anyone else felt this way? I am in 2 weeks post op I wasn't thinking when I ate the food. I sure do regret it. Do you think I damage something. This is the second day and it still feels like I have something in my throat. some one help please.:thumbup:

I had water and slim fast for a week and lost 8 lbs. I had to be on a liquid diet before I had my op. It was sure hard expect another 3 weeks without food. I think it is better to get the whey proteint powder and mix with milk instead of slimfast it has a lot of sugar. Try to get at least 50 grams of proteint in you. good luck hope everything goes good for you.

Thanks to everyone I do feel better I am not suppose to be eating found that out. It has slowly went down and now I am sticking to liquids for a while. Does anyone think that would damage the band or should it be okay? I guess I would know huh.. Thank you agina great tips. appreciate it. I feel alot better was scared for a couple of days there.

Hey guys I think I messed up last night:scared2: I had some mash potatoes shreed chicken breast and some smash flat greens:biggrin2:. I don't think I was suppose to eat that this early. I had my op on 2/29/08 my wife seems to think I should be on puree foods right now and it should have been fine. :confused2:But I feel like I have some thing stuck in my throat and my chest was hurting a little bit. Well today I called the doctor for a follow up and they said I still should be on liquids. Can someone help what do I do? Do you think I messed up my Band? Does the feeling of having some thing stuck in your throat stay there? Thanks would love to hear what u have to say.

Hey thanks for responding I didn't get anything from this doctor. I was suppose to use another doctor but they filed under a differt one true results did. To keep my date I had to go with Dr. snow the ladys there at the surgery were kinda of mean they threw stuff in my bag. It wasn't want I needed. So I have been here reading and looking and winging it. I thought I should be on smushies now. I feel better now. I hope I didn't get it to slip how can you tell. Will the doctor know? I will stay on liquids that is for sure I can have soup right. I had tryed to get a hold of my doctor but couldn't be reached. I finally did today and I go see him on wesenday. I want to say Thank you to everyone.

I had something good I think I am suppose to be on mushies. My wonderful wife made me a little plate of some shred chicken breast, mash potatoes and some flat beans all smushed. Oh yea and some smashed apples. It was very little and it was great. To have some food in my belly. I felt this rush of energy. It really makes you appreciate every bite. That is all I had all day long. It was sure worth the wait today. I told her that I was going to post it. I couldn't thank her enough. I was pround that I eat so little and was satified. In the past I would have ate some big portions and two plates. That was my delious dinner I had tonight.

Hello , I was just wondering what everyone else eats during this part of the stage. I havn't talked to a doctor since the op so I 've been reading to see what I could eat. If anyone could give some suggestions I would appreciate it very much.:smile2:

Hey I know how you feel, I was banded 2/29/08 and I fought with myself all night before. I was sure I was making a mistake it is sure hard. I started to read all the bad stuff that goes with this lapband. Hang in there I have to give mine a try because I am so over weight. I hope everything works out for you.

I had to pay 1,500 but they let me work out payments. I am thinking some doctors charge more than others. I don't know how it works but that is alot of money for me to come up with. hope it works out for u.

Man I agree that sucks call a lawyer I thought my doctors office would check up on me it has been 7 days. Like u said all they care is about getting there money who do you go to if you have problems. I have no Ideal what am I suppose to do next. I glad for this wonderful website and all these people who are so caring. My family will pray for you, I hope everything goes okay for you. It seems like these doctors our out for themselves and screw everyone else.

I am having second thoughts not because I think I can do this on my own, but because I am afraid that I might lose my family. What if the What if happens with me. I know that being overweight I would leave them anyway. So I am ready to go in. Being so overweigh since I was little has been hard to deal with, from the name calling, to the embarassing moments in a childs life, like not fitting in the desk. I thought I could handle it and did very well untill now weighing at my heaviest at a 410 pounds. Life and the little things just seem to be harder. You never worry about things like health untill you have a major health problem. For me its my back. I never wanted back problems. I have to work for my family even if that means I can barely walk. Is this the right decision for me did I really try, really, to lose weight I ask that question to my self as the hours count down for this operation to be real. I guess what did it for me was going to the doctors and them saying I don't think you will be alive by the time you hit 40 doesn't seem that old now. I have to drop this weight for my self and the people I love. You'll be ok everyone says but are they thinking what I am thinking. "Honey we have to get everything in order" I tell my wife as I give her a kiss on the forhead maybe for the last time. She assures me everything will be ok as she falls asleep. I go in today at 6:45 in the morning. Am I ready I guess I am, I guess I have to be. Thanks for listenting to my thoughts. .......

Hey guys was wondering has anyone had Dr. snow in Hurst, Tx. I was suppose to have Dr. Marsden but the true results screwed up and filed under Dr. snow. I am glad at least I get to keep my date 2/29/08. Please let me know.

I had UHC they were good I had to be over weight for 5 years have proof, and go to a heart doctor. That was it. It is nice I got approved in about 2 to 3 weeks. I go in Friday. 2/29/08
