My date is 9/6!!. I started the process on 7/27. I start my liquid diet on 8/23. I have a preop appt on 8/29. I'm 37 and live in NC. I have 2 kids with birthdays in September so I hope to be up and at it soon after. I'm still in shock as I expected this to be a longer process but here we are! You are lucky! I'm sure your health isn't any worse than the rest of us - you qualified surgery and your insurance approved. My approval was fast too - it's the rest that's been dreadfully slow. I received a call this morning to schedule me as the approval was faxed back to the office the same day!!!???!!! I didn't expect it to happen this fast. I thought I would have more time to prepare.
