If they glued the outside of your incisions, then they stitched the inside of your incisions and it's just trying to come out. No big deal they said!

Before WLS and After CTT!
Kimberlyerin replied to LumpySpacePrincess's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I'm only about 5 weeks out. That picture was taken about 5 days post tummy-tuck/skin removal, so a lot of the swelling still has yet to go down. As for the pain, for me the majority of active pain was gone in about 48 hours; after that it was just annoying dull pain for another week or so, but I have a high tolerance. He says typically 4 days with the tuck, but to be honest, it was WAY less painful than the laparoscopic type surgery I had with the sleeve. Other than that, recovery has been good; I was back to my normal routine (just slower and taking frequent breaks) about 6 days post-op. That's awesome! I'm considering a tummy tuck after I lose 50 more pounds, to many issues with skin -
When does the hair falling phase end? and Should I dye my hair?
Kimberlyerin replied to MozzaWehsha's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Get it professionally done bc the box dyes you can buy from local grocery store are contaminated with an extra chemical or even just more water. Not to spam you, but I do hair for a living lol. My hair is failing out after two and a half months post op and I dye mine still, it helps it to feel thicker and fuller honestly. It's almost Autumn! Get a sweet fall color!! Paul Mitchell has a new shampoo and conditioner duo out for thinning hair, I've been using it and it seems to help. You see with these shampoo and conditioners you gotta use the almost every day or at least every time when you wash your hair to actually see it work and to make it work. -

Constant Pain

I learned sleeping with a pillow up against my stomach where my incisions are helped out a lot. -
Yeah. There are all types of technical terms of hair loss. Nioxin is clinically proven to work. People expect results in a few days of using it, when it needs a continuing use for a month. It works if the hair follicle instead dead. If it's not dead it helps hair come in stronger and more healthier. There are other brands who have similar items. BUT! The key is to take your vitamins. Your multivitamin should include biotin and vitamin D which are crucial to you and your hair. Also, you can't believe everything you read on the internet.. I hope this helps and i am not trying to push you on products. But I have knowledge of these things from being in this profession and from many hours of school in for this stuff.

Mine was the 28th!! 40lbs down! -
I do hair for a living, dioxin isn't as strong as it used to be, but it takes time to work on you hair like a month to feel results. Paul Mitchell came out with a great new product that works on thinning hair. It has a shampoo and conditioner and even a scalp treatment. I use it at home and I've noticed a difference.
