  5. I am currently 6 days post op. I really try to only take pain meds before I go to bed, but my right side (where my stomach was removed through) is in worse pain then it originally was. I can only lay in one position to not be in pain. If I sit or move in any direction while standing its a deep burning pain. Is this normal? Would a heating pad help? 6. This morning, 4 days post op, I weighted in at 297.5. That's the first time I have been under 300 lbs in about 4 years. My highest weight, when I began pursuing WLS was 328 and the day of surgery I was 304. I couldn't be more excited!
  7. I had my surgery on Friday, and overall I feel great. But I have horrible gas pains still. I've been walking and I have the gas x strips, any other suggestions?

Thank you both! I was adding red crystal light to my water so that's probably the issue.

  12. Surgery is more dangerous for people with kidney problems because of the anesthesia. The anesthesia is excreted from the body through the kidneys, if they aren't working properly it's not excreted well. This is something you would definately want to speak with doctor about. 14. I have never had a problem with acid reflux previously, but I am currently on day 6/10 of my pre op all liquid less than 800 calorie diet and I am now experiencing it. Has this happened to anyone else? Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
