Hello, I'm a type one and planning on doing the RNY in November. Just met with the surgeon for the 2nd time and said most of my life things will go down or be gone, except for the diabetes which he said should be under better control. My A1c are always 9.0 to 11. And I now suffer from burning feet with neropathy, (msp). I've done all my appointments and did all the phone coaches from the insurance. I've been on the pump for 5 years and the nurse told me today after the the surgery I will bottom out with lows so I will need to have my endo adjust the pump to work with the new diet.
