After 2 days I was drinking 1/2 glasses of water at a time. I had less gas then with those little gargle cups and I felt more comfortable. I told my doctor on the 5 day follow up and he said it was fine. Check with your doctor to be sure good luck

Your insides will be healing, alcohol is too acidic. No one will know what's in your glass.

Are you taking the antacids, like omprezole daily?

So sorry you come home and leave home to that. Put on your best 120 lb less strut, put your smaller chin high and walk proudly past her sad stuck self. You go girl!

I'm 2 weeks out. The first 5 days I didn't have much hunger. When I did water or Crystal Light tool care of it. 2nd week out it began increasing. I'm on 3 shakes (I use premier) a day. I supplement with miso broth and homemade bone broth. I also have sugar free ice pops. They were very soothing a few days after surgery and I use them now. I'm hungry but it's really not awful. If I distract myself it gets better( I need to start cleaning the house in those moments) -

You didn't fail the band it wasn't the right tool. Research shows now that the band is not effective for sustained weight loss. I had mine in 2007. I just had my surgery this month. Band out-sleeve made. I can swallow better, my bra doesn't hurt pushing onto the band, I'm not regurgitating..... So sorry I waited to do it. Good luck-you'll do great

Good for you!!!!⭐! Acknowledge it now, fix it now. Ive been obese my entire life and just had the surgery at 57 years old. If I was as wise as you I would have had a much more fullfilled life and not have the orthopedic damage that I now own. It is wonderful that you have the guts and the knowledge to address the issue head on and live well. All the best to you.

My surgeon told me to try not to get stuck on the pounds. He said our weight can fluctuate 6-8 lbs in one day just from water. He said concentrate on fat loss and BMI. You've done amazingly well. Hang in there.

Please please call the Dr. I just lost a friend who was recovering from back surgery. Her legs were swelling. She called the Drs office , they told her to walk. She died from a clot. Please seek medical treatment. In all the paperwork we signed about possible complications it talks about leg swelling and contacting the Dr office Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App
