Regret.......... you probably came here to hear about how I regret my sleeve surgery. But it's the opposite I'm madly in love with my sleeve (my banana belly[emoji177]) I always read on here why people hate it, but I never read about how people are embraced by the surgery. It has made me a completely different person than who I was 6 months ago. I'm confident, successful, and beautiful. Don't get my wrong I went threw ups and downs pre op, and post op. But at the end of the day I'm almost 100 pounds down, I look back at myself last year around this time and hate the person I see. If you went threw this surgery, and are having any regret.. don't... it's a beautiful thing that a smart surgeon did for you, he/she believed in your health and weight loss. There is going to be ups and downs, stalls, and tears( in my case panic attacks). But when you wake up one morning and you weigh yourself and your almost 100 pounds down from your start weight you will not regret. You will embrace. Have a lovely day. My weight loss was doing so good, lost a total of 80 pounds and only 33 away from mine and my surgeons goal. BUT now my weight loss has stalled out/has been teetering back and forth between 197 to 194. Any tips or comfort that I'm not the only one this happens too?! Sleeved

I've actually talked to my nutritionist and she told me to eat more calories, and I've broke my stall this morning!! Hopefully it keeps moving in the right direction. I was just getting upset because I've been following my diet plan to the max. Thank you tho for all the kind words! Sleeved

Honestly my anxiety is threw the roof with my eating habits. I know I'm not eating as much as I used to before the sleeve. But I'm eating more than I did 3 days post op. I'm so scared to 'stretch out my sleeve' that I'm nervous almost every meal. Does everyone else have this problem? Sleeved

Feeling Full
hdsjourney replied to PrettySmile4U2C's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Probably from swelling inside your sleeve -
It honestly just depends on the surgeon (he puts them in every patient to monitor leaks), after all I Learned about the drain tube I was very happy they put one in after my sleeve surgery. It's another way to help with infections and also it helps to see if there is any leaks after surgery due to the color what comes out into the ball.

I had surgery on Dec 19 2016. After surgery I had a drain, it was only in until the day of discharge. If you wake up with one don't freak out. It doesn't hurt, I honestly didn't feel no pain with it even when I was walking around/sleeping. There was only one time that it had little pressure around the site of the drain and that's when I was moving around in the uncomfortable hospital bed lol! Then when the surgeons PA pulled it out the day of discharge it just.. didn't hurt... wasn't any pressure..... just felt very awkward (because it's moving threw your stomach). But it was out so fast, only took a second or two. Hope all goes well with your surgery! Don't forget to get out of bed ASAP after surgery (helps with gas, and nausea) and when you can finally get your water (I didn't get any until the next night after surgery) make sure you SIP, SIP, SIP.
