I had Rny on 8/8. I was a major diet soda drinker for years. It was the hardest thing to give up, but I did it and I feel so much better! You can do it too! Diet sodas are so bad for you for so many reasons. There's so much out there to choose from it you don't like plain Water. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

How can u get all ur Protein in at just two meals a day? I'm 4 months out gastric bypass and I eat 4 to 5 small meals to get my protein in. I usually eat 700 to 800 calories a day. SW 281 CW 211. Bypassed on 8/8/16. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

I had my bypass Aug.8th. My SW 281 CW 218 I choose the bypass because it's the gold standard and because I had acid reflux. I also wanted the extra restriction and the dumping aspect. You have the first three weeks surgery blues. It will get better when you can eat soft foods. I'm almost 4 months post op gastric bypass, I felt awful...especially mentally until I could eat soft/pureed foods. Once you can eat something again your spirits will improve. My surgery date is august 8. I too am nervous, but I have some medical issues caused because of my weight. I tell myself I'm doing this to improve the quality and save my life. You say your lucky and have no health issues that is great...but being obese it will catch up with you. I don't know how old you are, I'm 44 and the last few years my health has deteirated because of my weight. You have tell keep reminding yourself your getting this surgery to save your life period.
